Wer mir auf Facebook und Pinterest folgt, weiß um meine ganz besondere Liebe zu Tiny Houses. Denn hier teile und pinne ich mit Vorliebe die durchdachten Raumwunder. Sie sehen oftmals nicht nur supersüß oder cool aus, sondern überzeugen vor allem mit raffinierten Raumkonzepten, in denen jeder Quadratmeter sinnvoll ausgenutzt wird. Der Begriff „Tiny House“ kommt übrigens – wie sollte es anders sein – ursprünglich aus Amerika. Hierzulande werden die winzigen Häuser auch Minihaus, Mikrohaus oder Kleinhaus genannt. Der große Vorteil von so manchem Tiny House ist, dass es klein genug ist, um von einem Ort zum anderen transportiert werden zu können. Die perfekte Lösung also für moderne Nomaden. Aber auch der ökologische Grundgedanke eines Tiny Houses ist nicht ganz unwichtig. Denn die Minihäuser hinterlassen einen kleinen “Fußabdruck”, also eine gute CO2-Bilanz durch ökologische Baustoffe, haben einen geringen Energiebedarf und eine kleinere verbaute Fläche. Besonders Letzteres erweist sich beim Bau als Vorteil. Denn in die Höhe zu bauen ist in der Regel kostengünstiger als in die Breite, denkt man alleine an die Grundstückspreise hierzulande.
