These are the 12 Tribes of Israel according to the scriptures. The names listed on the leftward side are the true names of the byword counterparts rightward. Each tribe are the descendents of the 12 patriarch, and sons of Jacob(Israel), and are named after each sons of Jacob(Israel). These are also are the people the Most High (Yahawah) and his son (Yahawashi) ordained to be his chosen people above all the nations of the earth. Deuteronomy 7:6 For thou [art] an holy people unto the LORD thy God: the LORD thy God hath chosen thee to be a special people unto himself, above all people that [are] upon the face of the earth. Deuteronomy 14:2 For thou [art] an holy people unto the LORD thy God, and the LORD hath chosen thee to be a peculiar people unto himself, above all the nations that [are] upon the earth. Peculiar סְגֻלָּה : SAGALAH- a) possession, property b) valued property, peculiar treasure c) treasure Althougth the so-called Negros, so-called Latinos of North, South, & Central America, and the so-called Native Americans, are the 12 Tribes of Israel and the children of the Most High, however the Most High only will save the 144,000 Elect(1,200 prophets[MEN!] from each respective tribe), to teach the truth on the highway and hedges throughout the all the regions of the earth to gather the 1/3rd. The 1/3rd are men of the nation of Israel that the Most High(Yahawah) allowed faith and repentence through his son Yahawashi(so-called Jesus Christ). Though they may not obtatin the lot as a prophet, they will hearken to the word of the Lord through his prophets, and reherse the law statues and commandments of the Most High. These also consist of the helps, children, and women of the servants of the Lord. However 2/3rds of the nation of Israel will not hearken to the word of the Lord through his prophets, obtain not the faith in the Most High through his son, neither will they reherse the law, statues and commandments of the Most High, rather will continue in their sins and wickedness. Zechariah 13:8 And it shall come to pass, [that] in all the land, saith the LORD, two parts therein shall be cut off [and] die; but the third shall be left therein. 9. And I will bring the third part through the fire, and will refine them as silver is refined, and will try them as gold is tried: they shall call on my name, and I will hear them: I will say, It [is] my people: and they shall say, The LORD [is] my God. Romans 9:6 Not as though the word of God hath taken none effect. For they [are] not all Israel, which are of Israel: Galatians 6:16 And as many as walk according to this rule, peace [be] on them, and mercy, and upon the Israel of God. The Israel of the Lord are the elect giving his word.

And it's all done right here in the USA. Our full color imaging is achieved through dye sublimation. It is a 4-color process which produces vivid images. These banners will last for many years and are extremely color fast. We use a Poplin fabric which is very stable. The colors are just fantastic ! Banners are available in single layer heavy Tri-Poplin fabric or fully lined banners (2 layers of fabric), either choice features a large rod pocket at the top. Genesis 29 and 30:1-24 This binder project requires a bit of reading on the part of the leader from the blessings of Jacob on his children found in Genesis 49, since the majority of those blessing correspond to the banners for the 12 tribes of Israel. The children simply match the son of Jacob with the tribe's banner(s) on the printout found here. Note that the banners next to each other go together, so some of the tribes have only one banner while some have two and some even have three. The answer key can be found here, and I also have uploaded it to this blog for ease with credit going to nyut545e2 at www.docstoc.com (more information about the tribes can be found at the original website found here.) Answer Key Our activity requires good weather outside and bit of preparation. Each set of printouts found here and here gives 24 sets of playing pieces, so consider your needs and plan accordingly. After printing out your playing pieces, cut the faces apart into approximately equal squares. Then staple the face of Jacob over each of the girls' faces so that Jacob hides either Leah (with the glasses since her eyes were weak) or Rachel (no glasses.) These playing pieces (a complete set of Jacob with either Leah or Rachel) are hidden outside ahead of time. The children are given a small lunch bag for gathering their playing pieces, much like an Easter egg hunt. Once the playing pieces are all found, the children go inside and score their pieces. Since Jacob loved Rachel more than Leah, Rachel playing pieces are worth 2 points while Leah playing pieces are only worth 1 point. The original website for the pictures are at the end of this blog. Bible History It is at this point pertinent to address the 12 tribes because their distinction will begin to be more evident as we move in history. Some battles have only a few of them in action and some even have tribes fighting each other. These tribes would grow into nations and empires. The identification of these nations today will ... The land of ancient Israel, the Isralites was divided into 11 sections corresponding with 11 of the 12 tribes, which are based on the 12 sons of Jacob. There is an inconsistency, though, since one of the sons/tribes was not assigned land, yet there are still 12 tribes. The state of Israel that exists today is nothing like the ancient Israel. Jacob, whose name was changed to Israel, had two wives and two concubines by whom he had 12 sons and a daughter. Jacob's favorite wife was Rachel who bore him Joseph. Jacob was quite open about his preference for Joseph, the prophetic dreamer, above all others. Joseph's brothers were jealous, sold Joseph into slavery, covered his coat of many colors with animal blood, which they then showed to Jacob, and ultimately led to the movement of the Hebrews into Egypt. When Was the Exodus? Just before Jacob died, he pronounced benedictions and maledictions with predictions on the future to each of his sons. Judah was assigned the role of leader. Jacob predicted Zebulun would live by the coast. Three of the sons, Reuben (the first-born), Simeon and Levi were scolded; the last two for their massacre of the people of Shechem. Their sister Dinah had been raped by a man of Shechem and Simeon and Levi had exacted what they considered appropriate revenge. Reuben was criticized for sleeping with one of his father's concubines. As punishment, Levi was not assigned a territory, but each of the other brothers was. This should mean 11 tribes, but Joseph received two portions (which should have been the right of the eldest legitimate son), one in the name of each of his sons, Ephraim and Manasseh. The "sons" and tribe names are: Eastern Judah Issachar Zebulun Southern Reuben Simeon Gad Western Ephraim Manesseh Benjamin Northern Dan Asher Naphtali Although Levi was dishonored by being denied territory, the tribe of Levi became the highly honored priestly tribe of Israel. It won this honor because of its reverence for Yahweh during the Exodus. See The Twelve Tribes of Israel, from Jewish Virtual Library Lost Tribe Found? Recent work in DNA has revealed genetic relationships previously considered unknowable. Tutankhamen's DNA showed he is probably the son of Akhenaten. Now BBC News reports, in Lost Jewish tribe 'found in Zimbabwe' (March 6, 2010), that a group in Zimbabwe, which has Semitic DNA, may be the lost tribe.
