Terracota red Renaissance dress with beautiful period looking beige-gold pattern. Made after years 1560-1580 European fashion with strong Italian vibes :) Best choice for period balls and dancing, Renaissance fairs, Venezian Carnival and other events. The dress is suitable for summer, as the face fabric is 80% cotton and the bodice lining is 100% cotton. The dress consists of the bodice and skirt. The skirt is closed on a button on back, the bodice is fully lined, has strong boning and works as a corset. The sleeves are to be laced, so the dress can be worn without them too. The dress is designed to be worn over period undergarnments like chemise and farthingale (hoopskirt). As the bodice is boned, it can be worn safely without the corset. You can order the dress itself, or the dress and the chemise (you can see the chemise itself here: https://www.etsy.com/listing/776970104/renaissance-batiste-chemise-thin-cotton) Copies with customizations and of different fabrics and colours are available. Please PM me for more details.
Please, pay attention that the fabric that is on the photo is out of stock now! The dress is available in the dark shade of red. This gown is a wonderful example of a Italian Renaissance dress reenacting. The dress is done according to the late 15th century fashion. Also its silhouette is inspired by The Borgias TV show that is dedicated to the period of Alexander VI pope of Rome. The bodice is reinforced by the rough cotton and plastic bones that gives 1-2 inches of reduction. Sleeves are multipart which is typical for Italian Renaissance time. They are laced separately and moreover the dress can be worn without them. In addition, the gown and sleeves are decorated with artificial pearls and golden lace. The central motif of the bodice is hardly embelished with sequins. This costume is sewed of two kinds of decorative mixed cotton fabric (50% of cotton, and 50% of synthetics) with cotton lining. The chemise (shirt) is tailored of pure milky color linen. And on the request the fabric of the chemise can be changed to light 100% cotton batiste. The ready dress has the following measurements: Bust 99-100 cm Underbust 83-85 cm Waist 76-80 cm For height 175 - 183 cm A custom copy of your size can be made. Other colours and materials are available. If you have any questions and would like to make a custom order don't hesitate to write me.

Francis I. 1515 to 1545. Renaissance fashion era. Artistic head-dresses. Increase of love of dress. Coaches in Paris; their influence on the fashions.
We were primarily inspired by Marie-Antoinette's historical personality and 18th-century fashion. The costume consists of an overbust corset with detachable sleeves, and a skirt, the shirt is not included. With its light coloring, lace, and elegant corset curves the costume shows the patterns of the “Late Baroque” style. The costume will be perfect for a photoset, also it could be worn as a part of a historical or Renaissance Faire costume. And, definitely, it can be the highlight of the rococo wedding! Materials - The corset is made from silk jacquard with thick cotton lining - Steel bones; - The skirt is made from faux taffeta decorated with lace, trim, and handmade natural flowers. Also decorated with Czech beads. Please take attention! Original fabrics are OUT OF STOCK. We make this costume from similar fabrics! The dress is made to order. ___________________________________________________________ ♥The model in the photo wears a pannier that is not included in the price of this costume.
