What's a 20s Halloween Look without some Gatsby Inspired Makeup | MAKE UP FOR EVER Halloween Card October 25, 2013 • Halloween, Inspiration, Looks, MAKE UP FOR EVER Halloween is less than a week from now. If you're still no decided (or have multiple parties to go to and need idea), here's one for you: put on a crochet dress (like the one I showed in this post from AEO), a sparkly head piece, and Gatsby appropriate makeup! MAKE UP FOR EVER has provided a tutorial to share how to get the Gatsby Look... Skin Apply #0 HD Primer starting through the center and working outward. Create velvety skin using Mat Velvet+ Foundation and a foundation brush (e.g. Large Foundation Brush #108). Conceal under eyes with HD Concealer and any additional areas. Pull Concealer through brows with a flat firm brush. Next apply #6 sculpting blush to the apples of the cheeks. Re-intensify highlight with #941 Star Powder. Eyes Using #25 Aqua Brow create thin downturned eyebrows. On the eyes start with #3 Aqua Cream, apply over eye lid and blend into your crease. Smudge #4E Aqua Shadow with a small firm brush (e.g. Precision Smudge Brush-Small #202) along the upper and lower lash line creating a down turned effect. Rim the outer lash line with 1K Eye Kohl Pencil and smudge. Apply #4 Eye Shadow into the outer corner of the upper lid and pull into the crease. Next, blend with #157 Eye Shadow using a blending brush (e.g. Precision Blender Brush #236) and highlight with #941 Star Powder in the center of the eyelid. Apply Smoky Lash to your top and bottom lashes. Finish with #152 lash on top and #132 lash on bottom. Lips Line the outer edge of the lips with Concealer Pencil and buff lightly into the lip line. Use #13C Aqua Lip to create a small heart shaped mouth. Fill the entire lip with #48 Rouge Artist Intense. Shop this look at Sephora online or in store! I still haven't decided what I'll be or whether or not I'll be going to a Halloween party (it is, after all, the day right after my exam)...
