This is a digital copy of the 1925 publication "Fashion Service" published quarterly by the Woman's Institute. This is an incredibly hard-to-find book that features stunning fashions from the 1920s, and several articles on how to sew the dresses featured. There are no actual sewing patterns for the dresses included but there are several descriptive tutorials that one could copy with great results. An experienced seamstress would be able to take the instructions given and tailor the dresses and lingerie shown. This book does actually feature an actual hat sewing pattern for a 'wide brim hat". The book is 53 pages of articles, lovely drawings, instruction and embellishment lessons for sewing beautiful clothing.
