Pendant lamp “delta” by sergio mazza for artemide 60s, 70s. sergio mazza is an italian designer born in 1931 in milan. In 1955 he began his free profession and since 1961 he has been working alongside g. Gramigna in the smc studio, working in the furniture and industrial design fields. among the various acknowledgments and prizes received, we recall the mention at the compasso d'oro 1960 for the delta lamp by artemide and the silver medal for the italian apartment at the x triennale in milan. from 1967 he also began to design for olivari, signing the macco handles, up to the giuliana model, with gramigna, in 1987. In the publishing field, again with gramigna, he directed the "ottagono" magazine from its foundation until 1988. artemide is a company specialized in the production of lighting accessories (lamps, chandeliers, light points), founded by ernesto gismondi and sergio mazza in 1959. The brand has been characterized since the beginning by a great attention to the design that has allowed over the years to win numerous international awards for its products. among the most prestigious names in italian design, artemide is also one of the world's leading companies in high-end residential and professional lighting. already in 1967 he received his first prize the prestigious compasso d'oro for the eclisse lamp, designed by vico magistretti. This award is followed by many others, nationally and internationally, making artemide one of the symbolic companies in the design lamp sector. in 1996 artemide made its own a new manifesto, in which it still identifies itself today: with the motto "the human light" the milanese company underlines its desire to put light at the service of man and his needs. Artemide philosophy was immediately accepted by the public and the brand's success gradually grew, also demonstrated by its presence in the most prestigious sales outlets and major modern art museums worldwide. since its inception, artemide has collaborated with the most important names in international design, pursuing ambitious goals in terms of technology, aesthetics and respect for the environment. Very rare and Unique lamp of the brand GRIN LUZ , FASE lamp CHROME TABLE LAMP - SPACE AGE- MUSHROOM SHAPED- VINTAGE YEARS 70s a similair lamp is published in the famous Fase Book see the last photo Precious "Vintage" lamp type "Space Age" from the 60s. This lamp is made by grin Luz (fase factory) All original, with its glasofonodado glass, which nuances the lighting yes. Dazzle when looking at this. It is working and in good condition. It only shows signs of oxidation in some parts of the chrome, which do not detract from the beauty of the lamp, and is a sign of its age. MEASURES; 65 CM HEIGHT AND 50 CM DIAMETER.
