Greetings Cuties~ We're here today in celebration of a new blogging challenge!Lea has created a 10 week blogging challenge for all the Gals out there! (Let's not talk about how I have yet to complete the 30 day gyaru challenge but I will!) Week one's topic is Favorite Outfits! It was very hard to make a small selection, but I tried my best! This blogging challenge came in good time too, I recently raided my photobucket to save all of my images. Going back to my coordinates from 2012 was an experience. („ಡωಡ„) lol But it was fun making a trip down memory lane, so I'd like to take you with me~ FAVORITE OUTFITS Pretty obvious which were my favorite shirts at the time (lol). This dates back to 2013 - 2014 I believe. My favorite styles were rokku and tsuyome styles. At least these were the looks I desperately wanted to master at the time. I didn't have many clothes for it just a few gems, this was back in my d.i.y days. The black top / arm warmers were pieces I made, nothing major but boy was I happy! Still was wearing the hell out of that one shirt, but I got new accessories and clothes to pair with it! At this point, I started to play with other substyles. I believe the pink and black outfit was my first agejo attempt! The beginning of me stepping out of my comfort zone (?) . I'm still salty I didn't leave the house in that last outfit . . . I'd say this is when I found my go to style. Something I'd go out and about in and feel confident and comfortable with myself~ Fast-foward to now, lovin' the skin I'm in and found my own style! I remember in the beginning I'd search through tumblr for hours saving images as coordinate inspo and try to copy them. The more exact my recreation was, the happier I felt. Which isn't necessarily a bad thing ; pulling inspiration from models or other gaijin gals isn't an issue. I'm just glad I got to a point where I could create my own looks from trends I've loved over the years. Most importantly, I can be Gyaru stress-free and just have fun like I'm supposed to! So, which one is your favorite? And if you're an o.g. let me know in the comments if you remember any of these! lol I'm extremely happy about the boom in Gyaru activity! For one, it gives me plenty to read with the increase of blogging. Secondly, I'm surrounded by inspiration! I'm gaining courage to try things I've been wanting to do for months. And that wouldn't be possible without the push of my fellow Gals~ ♥ Love you all, thank you for reading! ~ Love you x Amiman ~
