I made these "light houses" from used milk boxes. The little secret is that you have to make many little openings so the plastic inside will not be burned.
Completed cross stitch of the phrase "More cowbell" and a little bell, framed in 3" natural wood embroidery hoop. ---THE DEETS--- This listing is for one small completed cross stitch. *FRAME: 3" natural wood embroidery hoop frames are standard for this one. If you'd like this to come in a small secondhand frame instead, select that framing method from the drop-down list as you check out. You won't get to select your exact frame; it will be chosen from among my many Goodwill frames! *GIFT WRAP: As with all my small items, if this is a gift, let me know via convo or in the purchase order and I'll wrap it in plain paper and include a small notecard for your "to" and "from." If it's going directly to the recipient, let me know what you'd like me to write on the notecard, and make sure I have the correct shipping address! *SHIP: This will ship via USPS first class with delivery confirmation, or international first class. It will ship within approximately a week, and often sooner, unless noted otherwise in my shop policies, banner or shop announcements (under the banner). Leave additional time for multiple orders, or orders of multiple items, just to be safe. : ) Let me know if you need it by a certain date via convo and I'll see what I can do! ---THE LINKS--- Want to stitch it yourself? OoooEeee I’m super excited to share this week’s little bit of craftiness with you all. A while back I found an oversized clock at our local thrift store. I originally planned to upcycle it into something that would fit into our boho gypsy decor style but when I took it apart, it struck me that it would make the most amazing little clock fairy garden. All it needed was a porch swing and a little bit of fairy dust ;-)

Last year, I made treble clef candy canes for my Orff and Choir students. I posted about this in July. But, I didn't take a picture of the candy canes attached to the card. Here is this year's version of the gift for my Orff and Choir students. I used red and white candy canes this year because I had an abundance of white pipe cleaners on hand and didn't want to have to buy more. UPDATE: I have added a new post with a video tutorial. Here is a beautiful little toy that you can make out of things that you probably already have in your house: We have given these as birthday gifts a few times, and they work very well for 4 to 6 year olds. We put them in a special pouch with 6 arrows, and we use fine point pens to decorate the bow with the child's name. They require some practice and fine motor coordination. Contrary to what you saw in that last menacing picture, in our house there is a no-shooting-in-the-direction-of-people-or-pets rule. Take care, they can shoot a surprising 15-20 feet!

My daughter starts her summer break from piano lessons this week. So when SVGCuts came out with this piano from Thank You For the Music SVG Kit, I knew I had to make it for my daughter's piano teacher. Isn't it awesome?! I absolutely love how it turned out, classic and elegant! Thank you for the music... for giving it to me. Doesn't that remind you of the ABBA song??? I can't get it out of my head now (doesn't that drive you nuts when that happens?!?) I didn't have a stamp to coordinate so I used the print n cut feature of the Silhouette to print and cut the tag. The font I used is called scriptina. On the lid of the box and book, I wrapped some musical note washi tape by Recollections. The best part of this piano is that it's functional... it has enough storage for treats or maybe even a little gift! LOVE it! So simple and elegant and surprisingly easy to put together :) Thanks so much for stopping by, hope you like this little piano treat box. If you have a piano player in your life, surprise them with one of these beauties... I'm sure they'll love it! Happy Crafting :)
