Is scribbling art? Do you really think scribbling is art or are you one of those who thinks it is not? The thing is you are not wrong no matter what you think because not all scribbling is art but then not all scribbling is not art. Some types of scribbling can be done by good artists who direct their scribbling to create meaningful and pretty art that can be used to make your home and office look awesome. If you do not believe us, all you need to do is look at the images we have added along with the article to know that scribbled stuff can also be art. This reminds us of those magic shows of old where the magician would call one of the audience to the stage and have him or her scribble whatever he or she likes to do on to a huge board. Then the magician would ask the audience to tell him what they want the scribbles to be converted into. And once the audience agreed upon on what they wanted the scribbles to be converted into, he would do a bit of tweaking and voila, there would be some awesome art on the board. The reason why we mentioned this here is because sometimes looking at scribble art gives you a similar feeling. Sometimes the world of illustrious illustrations to keep you occupied is also on the same lines that can fill you with wonder and joy.

Teachers are there to teach us. Not to berate us when we ask questions that are not considered 'smart'. I never understood the reason why teachers get annoyed when a student asks too many questions. I mean doesn't it mean the student is participating and trying to learn? Why is it a bad thing? However,

His works featured women as central figures, often with an otherworldly, ethereal quality that spoke to the idealization of femininity during the time.
I firmly believe the best way to turn a great day into a purrfect one is to spend some time with criminally cute cats. No offense to all you doggos out there (believe me, I love you all, too), but cats are awesome.

Erté (Romain de Tirtoff) 1892-1990 | Russian-French Ce n’est que votre main, Madame (It's only your hand, Madame) Signed “Erté” (lower right) Inscribed "No. 18.352 / Ce n’est que votre main, Madame / Costume" (en verso) Gouache on paper In Ce n’est que votre main, Madame, Erté adeptly renders a design that is both glamorous and humorous. The redhead's gloves have seemingly fallen off and transformed into her long-trained skirt. Her jewels, coiffed hair and elegant pose toe the line between sophistication and camp. Fashion underwent a radical transformation in the Art Deco period. The designs of Coco Chanel, Elsa Schiaparelli and Jean Patou, characterized by their boldness and modernity, redefined feminine style. The couture houses of the Avenue Montaigne and Rue du Faubourg Saint-Honoré set global trends, making Paris the undisputed capital of fashion. High society flocked to opulent parties and balls, with the city’s elite showcasing the latest haute couture creations. Erté’s sartorial masterpieces found acclaim among many fashionistas and socialites, who often viewed his designs in publications including Harper’s Bazaar. Russian-French visionary Romain de Tirtoff (1892-1990), popularly known as Erté, began his artistic journey in the culturally rich city of St. Petersburg, where he developed an early fondness for ballet and theatrical performances. He moved to Paris in 1912 to study architecture, and quickly found his creative niche in crafting fantastical costumes for the city’s bustling nightlife. Erté‘s expertise, refined under the guidance of the famed Paul Poiret, captured the attention of Harper’s Bazaar, marking the beginning of a significant partnership that spanned from 1915 to 1936. The artist also designed sets for notable cinematic masterpieces including Ben Hur and La Bohème, and created sets and costumes for cabarets, operas and other performances at the Folies-Bergères, Bal Tabarin, the Théâtre du Bataclan and Le Casino de Paris. Often remembered as the “Father of Art Deco,” Erté was a trailblazer whose colorful creations shaped the groundbreaking Art Deco era more than any other, leaving an indelible mark on the history of art and design. His artworks reside in prestigious museum collections worldwide, including the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York, the Victoria & Albert Museum in London and the Los Angeles County Museum of Art. "Evening By The Pond" Giclee edition print - printed especially for you! The second photo from the top shows the print in the matte. The signature and title will be added per order, so that's not shown in the photo. I have also included a photo of what this might look like framed and hung in a room setting! image size: 11" x 14” matte size / frame size 16” x 20” A stock size frame should be easy to find, and you can just pop this print right in! Each print is signed and titled on the matte, and dated with the year the original painting was done on the reverse. Each print includes foamcore backing, mounted print, matte and is individually bagged in acetate. The mattes I use are all white – white reflects color from surrounding objects, so no matter where you hang this print or want to move it around your home, the matte will pick up reflected color from the room! Plus, it really makes the color in the prints pop. This print will be made specifically for you! Specifics: This print is reproduced from an original painting by me, Jan Schmuckal. It is printed in-house on lovely, Epson Watercolor paper. I experimented with many different papers before I settled on this one: It is archival, water-resistant, fade-resistant, and has a beautiful richness! My prints are made using Epson Pigment Inks, which are tested and guaranteed not to fade for at least 120+ years. COPYRIGHT: I retain all copyrights to my artwork. ALL MATTED PRINTS SHIP VIA USPS PRIORITY MAIL - you are paying actual shipping costs plus materials for shipping. Please be patient with shipping delays caused by circumstances beyond my control with postal processing facilities. EVERY package I ship goes thru the Chicago USPS hub.
