Siccome avevo promesso che avrei terminato la M delle ghiande entro la fine della settimana, avevo cacciato Alfredo di casa e per venerdì sera tutto ero pronto. Lo stesso venerdì sera, però, l'avevo sconsideratamente riammesso a corte ed era andata a finire che non ero riuscita a fare le foto e a scrivere. Ci provo adesso e non chiedetemi dov'è Alfredo e perché mi lascia lavorare... La settimana è corsa lenta e così pure i punti e i pensieri che si sono insinuati tra le imbottiture. Ci sono eventi che rallentano il tempo, rendono più morbidi i movimenti, dilatano gli spazi tra le azioni e le reazioni. E, se ci ricami sopra, i punti prendono quella forma e registrano ogni istante. A distanza di tempo tu solo sai leggere i ricordi appuntati sulla stoffa, oppure no... Sarebbe curioso indagare e capire se qualcosa traspira e raggiunge, almeno in forma di sottile emozione, anche l'occhio più lontano, che la storia non la conosce. Il disegno originale della M prevedeva l'intrecciarsi della foglia di destra al ramo sinistro della lettera. Ho sempre trovato poco ragionevole lo stacco del punto pieno a favore di foglie e fiori a punto pittura, perché la caduta improvvisa del rilievo non riesce a rendere il sormonto degli elementi originalmente suggerito. Tempo fa avevo provato a rendere più tridimensionali le foglie con l'uso dei feltrini, come fanno nel ricamo in oro. Qui ho fatto di peggio: ho ricamato il ramo a punto pieno, come se della foglia non me ne importasse affatto, e poi ho applicato il feltrino (panno lenci sintetico) sopra al ramo. L'effetto tridimensionale funziona e non ha fatto scalino come ipotizzavo. Purtroppo il punto pittura ne risente leggermente: la tensione è meno regolare (o va adattata e io ancora non ci sono riuscita). Mi sono voluta molto male (o molto bene, dipende dai punti di vista): mi sono costretta a ricamare tutte le linee, anche le più sottili, a cordoncino. Non mi erano bastati tutti quei circolini per i quali serve un unico un filo di imbottitura?! Mi erano bastati. Ma li avevo trovati anche molto belli. Mannaggia.
