i am not the drawing type of person, but i know i have an eye for design. WHAT?!?!? HHAHAHAHA I'M JUST PLAYIN'. (playin????? HAHAHA) But i really really really like editing pictures, making posters, rearranging my room, AND EVEN MORE SO, DECORATING MY OWN CLASSROOM! :) i looove doing that. I also like designing clothes, but i'm no mich dulce or rajo laurel. HAHA. i'm just an average girl who loves pretending to draw what she thinks looks clad. HAHAHAHA and i loooove designing structures as well. In my next life, i'd want to be an architect, if there wasn't so much math. But believe it or not, when i applied for UST, my first choice was of course BS psych, and my 2nd choice was? Interior Designing. I failed because there was this other test for those who had fine arts in their choices. I didn't take the exam because i wanted to leave na. hahaha besides, i was half serious with it. hahaha and so my love for designing spaces. i rearrange my room almost every year, buy new stuff to make the room look nice, hahah i like going around home stores, and getting ideas as to what my future house would look like. I only play SIMS just to design the house (i don't like buying the ready made ones, i start from scratch haha) then when i'm done designing it, i get tired na of playing with the people. hahahaha. but i really dooooo love designing stuff! i'm not good at it, but i guess it's a hobby that i like doing (even not professionally. coz that's what hobbies are for right? haha) and because this acquired love for designing has grown, i've come to a point where i have an idea what my house should look like. my house should have a sort of indoor-but-almost-outdoor-ish type of gazebo that looks like this: my pool, I WANT IT LIKE THIS. HAHAHAHAHA it's going to be indoor, and under the pool will be my...... uhm... dining room? garage? kitchen? i don't know. HAHAHA or omg, wouldn't it be cool if underneath the top pool, was the outdoor pool? HAHAHAHAHAHA this is way cooler. i won't be too tamad to take a bath in the morning. right when i get out of my bed, i'll jump right in! :) and if there's an outdoor dining area, this is on the top of my list. garden? well. i'm a tamad person to garden, it's not my kind of thing. so i'd like a nice view for the outside part of my house. so maybe just a simple zen garden with waterfalls to match my japanese gazebo. basta AWAY from bugs, mosquitos and all insects known to man. can anyone ever avoid these pests? hahaha. (i'm gonna hire a hot pest control guy. hahahahaahahahaha) the very first part of the house that i've imagined first is my bedroom. because it's the easiest to do, I can even redesign my bedroom now if I wanted to. but if i'm going to have a real house this is how i want my bedroom to be. I don't have an idea what exactly i want with my, but on the top of the list is this: (on TOP OF EVERYTHING) the princess theme is fine, maybe a little more grown up than this, BUT I WANT THE SLIDE!!! that's the main point of the whole bed! the slide!!! hhahahahaha and i think i want this a little bit higher to make space for all the shiz down under: i have a knack (knack?!) for small spaces, i like to be enclosed (but not so much). i mean, i like that my things are near each other, so close to me, makes me think i have so much. BWAHAHAHHA. winner headboard!!! if i cannot have a bed like that, then i want my night lights to be this dramatic: or a nuture-y feel like this: or even this. feels like i'm AWAY from all the stress: i want a really really girly room like this: the design of the curtains, closet, walls and the chandelier would probably look like this, but i'm sticking to MY SLIDE! :) i want the big chairs to be just like these: i also want a little "creativity area" where my chairs are all like the one on the lower right of the picture. small kiddie cutie chairs. haha I don't like the love to dance quote, i'd put my mantra on the wall, so when i wake up, i remind myself of it. :) i like the curtains though. speaking of dramatic: super noh? this is a sad bedroom. maybe for arteeeests. not for me. hahahah if i'm getting brighter walls, they're definitely going to be my canvas. I want sidewalk chalks and make them permanent chalks (is there such thing??? HAHA) and draw on my walls. I also like how this room is layouted... the enclosed space for the bed.. and a couch in front of the tv (HOW DO I KNOW THERE'S A TV IN THIS ROOM HAHA) re: enclosed spaces. i've always wanted an attic room. when i was a kid, i considered a house "cool" if it had an attic and you didn't use it as a storage room. hahaha i want the ceiling THAT CLOSE to me. :) so i feel like the sky is falling. huwat?! haha i want a walk in closet that looks something like this: with a simple dresser like the one here: I also like the wooden chandelier, but instead of like, glass, i'd hang toys on it. or better yet, my accessories! ang gulo ko haha the one below is a simpler version, but i like it. (not because it's pink, but because for now that's just how much space my clothes and shoes are going to need. but at the rate i'm going with shopping every payday, i now need space. haha) oh but when i saw this (the one below), this closet took my breath away. this is every chica girl's dream closet. this is like a candy store for every 4 year old, this is clothes haven. now tell me you don't want a closet like that. my bathroom, i haven't really though about it because i think all bathrooms look the same. every bathroom just needs a place to bathe, a place to poop and a place to do make up. (and brush your teeth and whatever i guess. ahaha) of course, it has to be connected to the closet (if it's walk in haha) but when i saw this, THIZIZIT. For the living room.... TADAAAAAA!!!!!! ahahah NO i don't want a barbie themed living room, it's just amusing. i want my sofas to look like this quilty design, so that my walls can be bare white. :) i also want a picture wall! with a warhol popart version of me hanging. it's going to be like my shrine. HAHAHA I AM SO NARCISSISTIC. HAHAHAHAHA now for the kitchen, same with the bathroom, i'd go for whatever because i think kitchens are all the same as long as there's a stove, a fridge, a pantry, a table, sink.. all the useful stuff that everyone basically needs. but when i saw this one, i said. I GOTTA HAVE THIS. makes me want to sing "i wanna be a billionaire, so frikkin bad" HAHAHAHA DIBA??? AGREE WITH ME. this is every lasinggera's dream. HAHAHHAHA KIDDING. I've already told my future architect I wanted a glass house. HAHA if that's even feasible to do, but i guess that's how i am. back in college (which was 3 months ago), i used to carry around this transparent bag and people were like "don't you get insecure, people see what you bring everyday, people see through you" and like my psychologist mother always say "you are so transparent. people can see through you. people know what you are doing and feeling every second" that's just me! HAHA that's just so me! :) can i have a cool glass house like this? a really wide one-floor house. or, put all these box rooms together, place them on top of each other and make a narrow many story house! like this cool japanese house that's uso ngayon in japan! :) and this is the important part. THIS IS NUMBER 2 NEXT TO MY SLIDE IDEA. if my house had two stories, apart from the stairs, i WANT THIS: i thought, maybe i wanted one too beside my bed. but i thought the slide was more wicked. :)))) so, if i had a 2nd floor or a mezzanine floor, a fireman's/stripper pole is a muzt. (things i learn from watching Kendra ahahahA) As of now, i have to deal with my studio condo for 1 year. i just have to be creative. so I looked for chic studio designs/layouts, and this one, i can do now. :) diba. just the curtain as a divider. hahaha but then it got me into thinking, i'm the only one living in the condo, do i really need a divider? haha i don't mind waking up and seeing my kitchen. BUWA HA HA HA. i've also told myself (kinausap ang sarili?? HAHA) that if i'm going to design my own condo, it's going to have a mezzanine bedroom. :) (just like the room of the girl in the Love Actually movie where she made love with her hot officemate haha) now everybody sing with me! I wanna be a billionaire, so frikkin bad. buy all of the things i've never had. i wanna be on the cover of forbes magazine, smiling next to oprah and the queen.. oh everytime i close my eyes, i see my name in shiny lights... a different city every night, oh i, I swear.. the world better prepare for when i'm a billionaire! :) (Renee Zellweger in Chicago. her name in shiny lights gave me an idea!)

42/52 It is very, very cold in Chicago right now! The lowest temperatures I have ever experienced. This past weekend I went hiking in a couple national parks and while I had every intention of shooting it was just too bitter and windy to even take the gloves off. So I brought a little bit of the outdoors inside with me and spent a couple hours cleaning it all up afterwards :) *I offer limited edition signed prints of my images, send me an email for more info!
