Exhibition from last year of Andy Goldsworthy's work. I reckon his approach in general doesn't really suit clinical white roomed Ubercool galleries, it's better seen outside or as his incredible photographs exploring the transience of nature etc. This room however was really great - clay applied to the white walls bound with horse hair and left to dry. He's done this in the Scottish Museum and its great there as well as here. The texture's superb and the 'passage of time' is I guess in the drying. Love it. View On Black
