Replacing an earlier scanned slide with a better version 02-Feb-15, plus Topaz DeNoise AI 23-Jun-23. Registered to the Bristol Aeroplane Company as a Mk.IIA, G-AICT was leased on delivery to Airwork in Mar-48. It was returned to Bristols in Apr-49 and converted to a Mk.21E. Still with the Bristol Aeroplane Company it was re-registered with the test registration R-40 in 1949 and changed again in 1951 to G-18-40. It was sold to West African Airways Corp as G-AICT in Apr-52 and re-registered VR-NAL two months later. Bought by East Anglian Flying Services in Aug-57 it returned to the UK, as G-AICT again, in Sep-57. East Anglian was renamed Channel Airways in Oct-62. After the above photo was taken the aircraft managed another two summer seasons before it was permanently retired at Southend in Oct-65. It was broken up there in early 1966.
