For both Juani and Artia it was important that the wedding felt intimate and relaxed. " It was a day we both wanted to be able to enjoy with each other and our closest family. We enjoyed every minute of the day! It was full of love and happiness. Every detail was crafted with care and, looking back, we wouldn’t change a single thing!"

Natasha and John initially were planning on having a wedding with guests on Maui. "However, as we were planning the cost was looking rather hefty. We both mutually came to the agreement to have an adventure elopement out of the country and out of our comfort zones. While researching places to elope, we came across a photo of Monserrate Palace and our ceremony spot 'The Moon' and fell in love with the aesthetics."

Caroline and Rio met in 2011 at Hartwick College (in the dining hall!) in Upstate New York. Rio is from New Zealand and Caroline from New York. "It is crazy to say but from the first time we laid eyes on each other it was clear there was a special connection. It wasn’t until years later (Rio had moved to London for work), when he was in NYC for a work trip that we re-kindled this connection."
Carly and Tom wanted to have wonderful sunny weather, delicious food, great wine and for their guests to be fully immersed in the experience. Simona and Luke looked at almost every location in California to find something suitable after having to change their plans for an Italian wedding. Taylor and Joel embraced their circumstances and had an "at home" elopement in NYC. "We are so glad we didn’t continue to delay our wedding – we embraced our circumstances, and it was more beautiful than we could have imagined. There are so many family members and friends we would have wanted to celebrate with, if it weren’t for the pandemic. My aunt sent me “something borrowed” to keep in my pocket during our ceremony and some words of wisdom to have in our marriage."

Emily and Christian loved the idea of an elopement. "More specifically, a courthouse wedding. And with us both living in and loving NYC, we wanted to document our journey to and from home: riding the train, walking the busy streets, and the city itself, etc. It was wonderful crossing the paths of so many strangers, all of whom congratulated us and wished us good luck!"
