Ukrainian artist and urban sketcher Nikita Busyak (aka citiesandsketches) has found a way to make his pen and ink sketches glow with life. His realistic drawings mostly revolve around architecture and feature various buildings and cityscapes and are made by using mechanical pen and ink. Recently, however, Nikita has added extra effects to his illustrations with stunning results. With each of his new architectural drawings, he started to digitally manipulate the windows of the buildings so that it would seem as if they glow with golden light, making it seem as if the drawing is filled with the darkness of the evening or night.

Architectural drawings, that propose a different way of living. Artist Henn only provides this name as a description, so we are going to focus on the work. Cool design concepts that adapt to the location they are in. In these fantasy drawings, there are no limitations. Any house can be built anywhere, as long as you have the imagination to see it. A very freeing way of looking at the world. Granted not every idea can be applied in reality, but it expands what might be possible. Fantasy and all of its subsections, have inspired scientists, doctors and more... to produce things that without this spark of imagination, would have never been part of our everyday life. The real world is the way, because we enact concepts we see in our minds. Some we are told, we learn, some we can create ourselves... Ps. I gave the images some titles. A long ride to the outpost. Welcome to the travel section. With mass travelling a thing of the past for now, posts like these remind us of the beautiful countries we live in and the ones that populate the rest of the world. Places to keep in mind, for when we get a handle on things. This little trip is possible thanks to the architectural drawings of Australian Artist Mark Poulier. Different cities and architecture, some more famous and other, more quaint and subtle. No need for passports or a mask, this trip is covid free. Get a warm drink and transport yourself into the various locations. Spend as much time as you like in each and feel free to take some mental pictures of anything you want. Spanish sculptor David Moreno (previously) continues to blur the lines between two and three dimensions with his architectural artworks. Created using hundreds of steel rods and lengths of piano wire, Moreno’s sculptures take the shape of buildings, and his more recent works have ventured indoors, highlighting interior details like doorways and staircases. In 2017, the artist also created a large, immersive installation in the United Arab Emirates titled “Connecting Doors.” Moreno shares his work on Instagram and Behance. More

We know colors are here to stay whether it is in photography or television or even body arts like tattoos, but one cannot deny the intense classic appeal of black and white. There is something so touchingly evocative and striking about black and white that one cannot ignore it even if one wants to. We can’t really say why this is so, though we are sure that each of you out there has their own reasons for liking black and white as do we, but it still defies definition or explanation. Let us just say that when it comes art, some things are and it is better to accept it and enjoy it rather than go in to the reasons why it is so. The likelihood of ignoring black and white art when you learn about the popular painting styles in the modern world or for that matter any era.

The architecture of a place defines a place, a time period, a lifestyle. It captures a place's story and has its history written all over the walls of its architecture. Architecture defines an era, looking at the architecture of today we can conclude that it is either extremely random or architects now have the freedom to design as per their likes without being confined by any current trend....
