Some photos we took the other morning when the light was so beautiful. You can see how my bedroom is turning out 🙂 I honestly couldn’t be happier. Its coming together the way I’ve always wanted, lots of vintage inspired pieces with a romantic vibe. My favorite part of my new apartment is the floor and fixtures actually. The building is from 1920 and the floor still remains, so it gives everything this true raw feel that its so hard to find now.

Finnish painter Helene Schjerfbeck (1862-1946) is most widely known for her realist works and self-portraits, and less well known for her landscapes and still lifes. Throughout her long life, her work changed dramatically. She was supposedly a Realist, a Romanticist, an Impressionist, a Naturalist, a Symbolist, an Expressionist and a wildly ahead-of-her-time Abstractist.
