My name is Yuri Segalerba and I'm an Italian photographer who moved to Berlin 11 years ago, looking for a more vibrant and inspiring environment, caught by the fascination of abandoned industrial areas.
It’s photographs like this that stop me in my tracks when I’m browsing the internet, and I’m always saving them away in some folder that I never do anything with– until today! The time has come to unload my favourite art nouveau stunners on you. Let’s start with this flower-shop in Brussels, designed by Paul…

Architecture is meant to fulfill both practical and expressive requirements, and thus it serves both utilitarian and aesthetic purposes. When you look at a structure, you can distinguish these two ends but they cannot be separated, and the relative weight each of them carry can vary widely. Plus, every society has its own, unique relationship to the natural world and its architecture usually reflects that as well, allowing people from other places to learn about their environment, as well as history, ceremonies, artistic sensibility, and many aspects of daily life.

It's quite a long time ago that I posted a picture of the art nouveau winter garden (1900) of the school of the Ursulines, Onze-Lieve-Vrouw-Waver (between Brussels and Antwerp, Belgium). This stunning place was the visiting room of the "pensionnat de demoiselles".

A new book by designer David Mlinaric and photographer Derry Moore covers the history of English interior design from the sixteenth century to the present day, lingering on some of the great houses in the UK, from Chatsworth to Charleston.

Photography is one of those arts that lie in the border of technology and art in the sense that it is not possible to do without the right techniques and the right equipment but also needs creativity and composition. In any case, the field of photography offers such a huge scope that it is possible to dive into this as a hobby or as profession and not be able to cover everything that you want to capture in your lens even if you dedicate your lifetime to it. The fact is that photography can encompass something as huge as ravishing rainbow photography for that rare and picturesque look. In this article, however, we are going to be looking at photography from the other end of the spectrum, which is that of capturing mushrooms. We are sure most of you must have encountered the mushroom in your culinary experiences if not as an object of art in your lives. This means that you must be aware that it comes in many sizes, colors and shapes.
In this post, we are going to explore 3 different ways you can experiment with the line and wash technique. By the end of this…

I've been a huge Harry Potter fan for years, so I figured it was time for me to finally make a Sorting quiz of my own. I hope you like it! Let me know if your results are accurate.❤💚💛💙
Thirty years ago cinema audiences were left dazzled by what is now considered the definitive teenage coming-of-age film - The Breakfast Club. But where are the movie's stars now?

"After the Ball," by Alfred Stevens (1874) DIMENSIONS • 9" x 12" (Image: 7.5" x 10.5") • 12" x 16" (Image: 10" x 14") • 16" x 20" (Image: 12.25" x 17") • 20" x 24" (Image: 14.31" x 20") • 24" x 30" (Image: 18" x 25") Archival Inkjet on Fine Art Paper Smooth Surface - Matte Finish - Inset Borders ART-CENTRIC DESIGN ----------------------------- Vintage art is not standardized. The original works are usually too long, or too short, to neatly fill a store-bought frame. Most shops arbitrarily crop the artwork to match, leading to claustrophobic prints with missing or partial elements. These modifications — sometimes trivial, sometimes ludicrous — are not always shown in the product photos. We believe that the purpose of art is not to fill a frame; it is the purpose of a frame to showcase the art. Our prints have inset borders that make up any differences in proportion between the artwork and a standard frame, so that you can experience the art as the artist intended. They look sharp in beveled mats, may be float mounted, or inserted directly into standard frames; the borders providing a mat-like accent around the image. There are many styles from which to choose. Framing is a fun, creative process that enhances the artwork and livens your space for years to come. Should you like any advice, feel free to reach out. CUSTOMIZATION AND IMAGE REQUESTS ----------------------------- We are happy to customize our prints to fit your frame. Borderless prints may require the artwork to be cropped to fit a new aspect ratio. In such cases, we will provide a mockup to ensure that the final product meets with your approval. If you’re looking for an artwork that is not in our catalog, feel free to ask if we can provide it. We will print any public domain or openly licensed image that is available in high resolution. MUSEUM QUALITY ----------------------------- Giclée process prints are the gold standard in fine art reproduction. We use a matte finish, cotton fiber paper to maximize detail while eliminating glare. Our prints display a wide color gamut, deep blacks and beautiful tonal transitions. Produced using only archival materials, they will not fade or yellow, but maintain their original quality for as long as you own them. HANDMADE DECLARATION ----------------------------- To assure artistic quality, all of our production and design is strictly in-house. Every print has been proofed, calibrated and inspected for defects. We do not drop ship, resell or make use of third-party production partners. SHIPPING AND PACKAGING ----------------------------- All orders ship within one business day via USPS First Class, Priority Mail or Priority Mail Express. Sizes 9” x 12” and 12” x 16” ship in a flat configuration, unless combined with larger prints, which require tubes. We will replace any lost or damaged items at no expense to you. HAPPINESS GUARANTEE ----------------------------- We will promptly address any issues that may arise with your order. If you are unhappy with your print for any reason, you are welcome to return it for a full refund.
@Millyag11 I didn’t have a pattern but this photo popped up on my Pinterest and I wanted to try it, even though I don’t know anything about stitching other than cross stitch. I only used a couple of types of stitches and just hoped for best 🤞

Loosen up, leave it behind and indulge in a diversion, because it’s time to take a dive and plunge into some whimsy of the clay. This primordial craft and its busy creators manage to keep coming up with entertaining objects, that remain in contrast to the ever expanding complexities that confront us. The consistency and adherence to similar production techniques through the ages has given the clay products a grounded, steadfast appeal in these times of transience. Plumb the depths of some remarkable creativity infused with a smattering of fascinating figurines, cringeworthy and clever kitsch, mind boggling sculptures and
