Dit keramische badkamermeubel is uit te voeren in diverse afmetingen, kleuren en met één of meerdere keramische wastafels. Het keramiek is niet van echt hout of echt natuursteen te onderscheiden. Dit high-end meubel is een echte eyecatcher in elke badkamer.
The basics. Note the three 180-degree (half-circle) arcs, and two centers. Note how the tangent points and centers work out. Very important. This is pretty much the "ideal" layout, in my humble opinion. The two 180-degree arcs turn a full circle. The arrangement works well at the end of a room that nets 6'-6" wide at the tile surface. Could a narrower shower be made? Yep. Don't go less than 30" at the shower bubble, though; at least that's the CBC minimum circle. However, the 18" radius arc at the shower area is just right. Any narrower than that dimension and the shower zone feels too constraining. Don't for a moment believe that snail showers are "space saving" schemes. That is not at all true. A snail shower consumes FAR more space than a standard tub-shower combo with a curtain or glass walls and door, square shower with glass walls & door, or the smallest of the small: the blow-n-go neo-angle corner shower with glass enclosure. For comparison: The snail shower above occupies nearly 24 s.f. of floor area, while an off-the-shelf prefab fiberglass corner shower occupies about 8 s.f. Triple the floor area! Cost-wise, I used to be able to pick up a prefab unit for about a hundred bones (more now, of course). A snail shower with custom stone or tile work will set you back thousands, maybe even ten grand, depending on materials, wall heights, specials and so on. Just be aware of what you're getting into here, and don't kid yourself or clients regarding what might amount to extreme costs. There are REASONS that snail showers are uncommon!
