HAIR-Rare Original Vintage Australian Movie Poster of Milos Foreman's Psychedelic Free Love Musical with Treat Williams, John Savage, and Beverly D'Angelo. Milos Forman's "Hair" is adapted from the Broadway Musical Hit of the same name and tells the story of Claude Bukowski who leaves the family ranch in Oklahoma for New York City. In his newfound city, Claude is rapidly embraced by a group of young Hippies. He falls in love with a woman from the group named Sheila but their happiness is cut short when Claude is drafted to serve in Vietnam. The story divides into a series of vignettes that range from the ridiculous to the sublime, but all are gorgeously photographed with clever use of NYC locations and imaginatively staged musical numbers. The dances are choreographed by the legendary Twyla Tharp with Treat Williams lighting up the screen as Berger and John Savage matching him note for note with a lovely sweetness in the role of Claude. There is one outstanding musical number after another here culminating with "Aquarius" staged as a tour through Central Park which includes dancing horses... This beautifully photographed, well-acted, sung, and choreographed psychedelic trip of a movie must be seen and Experienced. Multiple viewings are recommended as this dazzler has way too much to offer on the first go around. ACTORS: Treat Williams, John Savage, and Beverly D'Angelo DIRECTOR: Milos Forman WRITER: Gerome Ragni and James Rado (musical book), Michael Weller (Screenplay) CINEMATOGRAPHY: Miroslav Ondrícek SCORE: Galt MacDermot THIS IS A VINTAGE, ORIGINAL POSTER PRODUCED AND DISTRIBUTED BY THE MOVIE STUDIO.
