The West Arlington Covered Bridge spans the Battenkill River, popular by canoeists, kayakers, fly fishermen, as well as locals for great swimming holes. The picturesque setting includes views of a local church steeple, and the former home of artist Norman Rockwell which is now known as the Inn on Covered Bridge Green.
Traveller & dreamer. Highly artistic, whimsical pictures that make me smile. I do not own any of these photos. The photos belong to their respective owners and are assumed to be in the public domain. Enjoy!

Lately I've featured green barns and red barns. I've never seen a yellow one, have you? It's lovely, isn't it? It would be cheerful to look at on the dreariest of days. I am supposed to have three straight days of on and off again rain but I have sun this morning. Happy Friday. xo via

What's a farm without a barn? Especially a red barn. I have a bad case of barn heart!
I don't know why I haven't noticed this old barn before, but this time it made me turn around and go back for several shots. I took some wider shots, but ended up preferring this tighter view of the silos and end of the barn.
Recently a friend invited me to Bluntsville, VA. This was 100 years ago a beautiful ore mining and plantation area. It is now abandoned with old homes, plantations and acres of untouched forest.
