Hey Crafters! Thank you for stopping by my blog today. This stamp set is called Basket of Wishes by Stampin' Up. This is my #2 card version using this great set. I love the look of the crackled paint paper in the background don't you? The basket was colored in with the blender pens and the ink pads and to top it off a Clear Wink of Stella for that little bit of shimmer and shine! I think this is so cute! Time for the Stampin' Up! Artisan Blog hop using the Basket of Wishes stamp set. See how versatile the Basket of Wishes stamp set can be for all occasions.
Hi peeps! I originally intended this card for Saturday but I checked this challenge: and it was almost over! Yikes! So two posts in one day....please indulge me! I just got this new set called Basket of Wishes...it will be available in the upcoming Holiday mini catalog from SU....and I must be in the watercoloring mood, because I just couldn't wait to play with it! Here we go: I stamped the image in Memento black ink on SU's watercolor paper, and colored it with several fall shades of ink...it's a quick, easy little image to fill in with my aquapainter: Then I mounted it on a square of Delightful Dijon which was diecut with the Layering Squares die...I also ran a small strip of Garden Green through the same die and used it as a little border atop the new DSP called Warmth & Cheer! I love that I can get additional uses from my dies! The sentiment was stamped in Soft Suede, and it's easy to miss, but I added some green enamel dots along the side of the DSP! A great way to introduce fall! Thanks for visiting today! The birthday continues: And, as promised, some beautiful cards! This "happy" creation is from Miss Robyn, her Sunday School teacher: and another sweet confection from Miss Sally: and a close-up of that fun ladybug card from Miss Debbie: Thanks, ladies! Don't forgot to come back on Sunday for the latest Paper Players challenge, too!

Good morning! With Aidan away at his grandparents this week it’s a little quite around the house in the evening, which is perfect since my Holiday Catalog Preorder goodies have arrived and all I want to do is play. Today I’m sharing a sneak peak of some of the products from the Holiday catalog and showing how they don’t need to just be used for the holidays, anytime will work. When I saw the Basket of Wishes stamp set I knew it would be perfect for fall and Thanksgiving cards, and those will come, but I love sunflowers and was so excited that one of the options for the baskets base sunflowers so I decided to make a summery card using that, along with some “Christmas” paper, haha! I started with Delightful Dijon cardstock for the cardbase and then took a piece of Crumb Cake card stock and ran it through the Big Shot with the Brickwall Embossing Folder. I lightly sponged the embossed piece with Garden Green cardstock to mimic the look of brick that has some moss growing on it (don’t know if you can see it but that was the feel I was going for). I stamped the greeting from the Basket of Wishes stamp set using Basic Black ink (I was careful and stamped after embossing but to make it easier stamp your greeting before embossing). Next I added a piece of Warmth & Cheer Designer Series Paper (love that there are so many great prints in this pack that aren’t strickly holidayish) and matted it with Basic Black Cardstock. For the stamped image I stamped the bushel basket and sunflowers using Basic Black ink on Whisper White cardstock and then colored them in with Stampin’ Write Markers. I matted this with Garden Green cardstock and attaching to the cardfront with dimensionals. The final touch was to add a bow I tied using some Delightful Dijon 3/8” Ribbon (from the 3/8” Ribbon Trio Pack, it’s in the new Petals and Paisleys Product Suite), it’s so soft and pretty, you’ll love it! There are so many options with this stamp set having different types of baskets and fillers, you’ll definitely love this set and can use it for everything! If you’re not a demonstrator you should be receiving your holiday catalog in the mail shortly (if you don’t and you don’t already have a demonstrator send me a note and I can get one in the mail to you). This holiday catalog is over the top, amazing and I know you’ll love it as much as I do! You can begin ordering on September 1 so start working on your wish list and get your order in so you can start working on all of your projects! Also, I’ve already started planning my fall/winter class schedule showcasing the fabulous holiday catalog products so stay tuned my class calendar and invites will be going out soon. There will be something for everyone! Below are easy ordering links to the products used on today's card: Enjoy! Diana

This card was my entry into this week’s #tictactoechallenge (#tttc008). This is such a fun challenge! I chose the diagonal line … square – linen thread – scoring. This was the first time I had a chance to ink up this stamp set. It’s called Basket of Wishes and has a really nice selection of […]

Good Morning! I have a cute and simple card to show you today. Not a Christmas card :) but it could be a cute thank you card for your hostess if you were invited to Thanksgiving dinner at someone else's house :) This card uses the Basket of Wishes stamp set which can be found in the Stampin Up 2016 Holiday Catalogue, as well as Ghoulish Grunge for that fabulous background! How To Make It: Start with a cardbase of 4.25” x 11” Crumb Cake cardstock. Adhere a layer of Delightful Dijon cardstock (4” x 5.25”) to the cardbase. Stamp the mesh stamp from the Ghoulish Grunge stamp set with Smoky Slate ink on Whisper White cardstock, then adhere this layer to the cardbase. On Crumb Cake cardstock, stamp the sentiment with Delightful Dijon ink and die cut with the Bunch of Banners Framelits. On a scrap piece of Crumb Cake stamp the basket image from the Basket of Wishes stamp set and cut out with Paper Snips. Stamp the sunflower image from Basket of Wishes twice on a some Whisper White scraps. Watercolor the flowers and leaves of stamped sunflower image with Aqua Painters using ink pads as your watercolor palette. Tip: To watercolor with ink pads, while the ink pad is closed, squeeze the lid firmly compressing the lid to the foam ink surface – this transfers ink to the inside lid – when you then open the ink pad you can use that ink as a palette for watercoloring with your Aqua Painter. (Simply fill the Aqua Painter with water). Allow the flower images to dry then cut out with Paper Snips and then adhere with Glue Dots- one behind basket one in front so the basket appears full of flowers. Add to the cardfront. Cut a length of linen thread tie into bow add with a Glue Dot to the basket. Adhere the banner die cut greeting to finish off the card! Stamps: Basket of Wishes (142200); Ghoulish Grunge (142241) Paper: Crumbcake (120953); Delightful Dijon (138338) Whisper White (100730) Ink: Basic Black Archival (666666); Delightful Dijon (138327) Garden Green (126973) Watermelon Wonder (138323) Smoky Slate (131379) Other: Aquapainters (103954); Linen Thread (104199); Paper Snips (103579); Glue Dots (103683); Bunch of Banners Framelits (141488) Thanks for stopping by the blog!

Good Afternoon Everyone, I hope you are well. The sunshine seems to have disappeared today, it's much cooler - which means I might actually get something done today, rather than just chill out in the garden haha. Although the sunshine has gone, it's very much still here on my card for today. Using the Basket of Blooms stamp set and some nice bright colours, I've created a fab Birthday Card. Measurements Pumpkin Pie Cardstock 1pc - 4 1/8" x 11 3/4", scored at 5 7/8" Whisper White Cardstock 1pc - 5 5/8" x 3 7/8" 1pc - 2 3/4" x 4 3/8" Take your Pumpkin Pie Cardstock and fold along the score line, at the largest piece of whisper white to the front. Next, close the card, and start a border around the card front edge in pumpkin pie ink, alternating the to smaller flowers. On scraps of whisper white stamp out the flower pot, adding the bow to it too. Then also stamp out 5 of the flowers. Do this in memento black ink. Once the ink has dried colour the flower pot in with Pumpkin Pie Blends and the flowers in Poppy Parade blends. Fussy cut all these out. Next Add the sentiment to the top of the remaining piece of whisper white and add two of the leaves images below in memento, making sure you don't do too low as you need to fit the plant pot onto it. Once the memento has dried, colour the leaves with Old Olive Blends. Add this panel to the card front to sit inside the floral border you stamped earlier. Now add dimensionals to the flower pot and cover up the stems of the leaves, add dot about the flowers in amongst the leaves. It's a cold, cloudy, windy day outside today in Midland, Michigan. Our high temp for today is 40F with a low tonight of 30F. The winds are W at 15 to 25mph. I'm sorry, I forgot that I had one more Card using the Season's Blessings Stamp Set and the coordinating Seasonal Basket dies to share with you today. I LOVE when Stampin' Up! comes out with Stamp Sets that are so versatile like the Season's Blessings Stamp Set. You can use this set for so many different occasions. I partial die cut the 'Wishing You Well' three times to get a Smaller Basket. I stamped off once with some of the Leaf Stems. The picture above shows a Card Layout where the Front of the Card folds forward (or toward you as you open it up). I haven't used this Layout in a long time and thought I would give it a go again when I saw Robyn Cardon (a US Demonstrator) demonstrate her Cards at Stampin' Up!'s OnStage event earlier this week. I added another Flower and Stem to the inside of my Card. I adhered some of Stampin' Up!'s new Iridescent Rhinestone Basic Jewels to the centers of my Flowers. The new Iridescent Rhinestones will be in Stampin' Up!'s new Mini Occasions Catalog that comes out in January next year. I also adhered three Evening Evergreen Matte Decorative Dots to the front of my Card. Today is the last day of the Seasonal Sale. Seasonal Sale I hope you can all take advantage of Stampin' Up!'s Seasonal Sale. There is some great savings from the Annual Catalog on Ink Pads, Cardstock and Dies. Make it a FUN day every day!!! Friday means a new challenge at Just Add Ink, and this week Tina has asked us to... ... which means our project needs to include some elements beginning with H. I went pretty & made this with the totally gorgeous & free Blossoming Basket bundle - a new Sale-a-bration freebie available from 16 February. But back to the challenge for now. Did you pick all my H elements? There's the Hardwood timber look stamp, hexagons dynamic embossing folder, & of course the Here for you sentiment. There are also some tiny hearts on the tag. Here's a closer look I've used almost all the images in the Blossoming Basket stamp set on my card - the beautiful basket of flowers, heart tag, butterfly & sentiment. All coloured with my trusty Stampin' Blends then fussy cut out. The basket is so useful for so many occasions - birthdays, get well, thank yous, mother's day, Easter, just because... endless possibilities. I definitely have a friend in mind for this card. If you love it too, remember it's only available FREE with any $180 purchase during Sale-a-bration, bundled with the Basket Weave dynamic embossing folder. This folder would have looked fab on the card too, but I wanted to add some more H's 😊 I've made another card with it though that I'll share next time. So that's my take on the H challenge. I think you'll love all the different H's that the Just Add Ink team have chosen to use, so head over to the JAI blog to say Hello, then try your own H challenge. You'll be happy you did. Before you go, remember to pin my project for later inspiration & check out the supply list below to see & order what you need to make your own. Thanks so much for visiting today. I'm happy you popped by. Come again soon for more ideas. Did you know you have three more new Sale-a-bration freebie choices, including the Blossoming Basket stamp & embossing folder bundle I used today and this divine pack of foil DSP (click on the pic for a larger look) which has an appointment with my paper trimmer very soon. Basket Weave folder in the bundle will be available again separately when new annual catalogue releases in June 2018. Welcome to the Tour de Freaks, where the theme this month is GRATITUDE, and we all have much for which we are grateful! You may have just landed here from Debbie's blog, Debbie's Designs, or you might be starting here. There are nine stops on the tour, so be sure to click on the link at the bottom of each blog post so you can see all nine! Gratitude is a subject near and dear to my heart; there is SO MUCH to be thankful for, if we just look around! It may be something as simple as having access to clean water (and indoor plumbing!), or a pet's love, or the ability to see and appreciate the beauty around us. I try to live each day with an attitude of gratitude....which leads me to my first card. STAMPS: Suite Seasons, Vintage Leaves CARDSTOCK: Very Vanilla, Soft Suede, Delightful Dijon, Petals & Paisleys Specialty DSP, Copper Foil Sheets INK: Early Espresso, Soft Suede, Delightful Dijon, Gold Wink of Stella Glitter Brush ACCESSORIES: Big Shot, Leaflets Framelits, Layering Ovals Framelits, Copper Metallic Thread, Stampin' Dimensionals I am grateful for that copper foil; it is just so lovely and I can't get enough of it!!! It adds such a shiny, rich touch to everything. For the next card, I thought the Basket of Wishes stamp set was just so appropriate. My mom is visiting and loves succulents, so when I showed her this card it made her smile! (I am grateful for my mom's smile!) I was aware that succulents came in a variety of shapes and colors, but when I searched for images as color inspiration, I was in complete awe of all the variations! (Another thing to be thankful for!) STAMPS: Basket of Wishes, Thankful Thoughts CARDSTOCK: Shimmery White, Soft Suede, Copper Foil Sheets, Blooms & Bliss DSP INK: Basic Black Archival, Mint Macaron, Sweet Sugarplum, Wild Wasabi, Soft Suede, Blender Pens ACCESSORIES: Big Shot, Lots of Labels Framelits, Layering Circles Framelits, Woodgrain TIEF, 2" Circle Punch, Classic Label Punch, 2015-2017 In Color Doilies, Mint Macaron 3/8" Sheer Linen Ribbon That's all I have today. I am filled with gratitude that you stopped by! Now on to the next stop on the hop to see what the fabulous Mindy Backes' has for you at Bada-Bing! Paper-Crafting!
Welcome back to the Fancy Friday Blog Hop! My fancy friends and I are back with some NEW fancy friends too! We loved working with each other so much that we decided to continue on with an all new blog hop to inspire you in fun new ways! These are a group of past and current Artisans that have become fast friends thru the Artisan journey. Glad to have you here! Each month on the last Friday, we will bring to you new challenges of all kinds (color, sketch, stamp focus, etc)! This month we are having fun with the upcoming holiday season! Are you ready? We were to pick a favorite Stampin' UP! Product from either the NEW Holiday Catalog or the Annual Catalog and run with it. Sometimes you see a stamp set and think "I would never buy that, right? Well this was one of them for me. I got this Basket of Wishes Stamp Set in my Artisan quarterly box so technically it was free BUT after using it for this blog post challenge, I would DEFINITELY buy it! I enjoyed coloring the images with my Aqua Painter and Blender Pen with inks. Here is the first card I created. I love this one! The red strawberries in the teal carton with the burlap ribbon and pretty doily just says "country farm". The Petals and Paisleys Specialty Designer Series Paper has some really nice patterns that works well with this stamp set too. I used the Aqua Painter with inks (Cherry Cobbler, Real Red, Bermuda Bay and Mint Macaron) on Shimmery White Cardstock. Do you know how hard it is to photo copper foil? OY! I love this copper foil dotted pattern DSP from the same pack! I hope you can see how great it is. I added a scallop circle of the Copper Foil Sheet with the Layered Circle Framelits Dies. I used the Blender Pen with inks (Soft Suede and Cucumber Crush) on Shimmery White Cardstock. This last one was a combination of the last two. Burlap, Doily, Ribbon Trio and another pattern from the DSP. I also used the Aqua Painter AND Blender Pen with the inks here. Very therapeutic to color these in and I highly recommend giving it a try! Thanks for stopping by my post for the Fancy Friday blog hop! Inspire. Create. Share. That's what I love to do.
