Affluent Back Bay is a shopping and dining destination. Along Newbury Street, well-heeled locals frequent designer boutiques, fashion chains, art galleries and patio cafes set in elegant brick townhouses. Expansive Copley Square is flanked by 1800s landmarks Trinity Church and the Boston Public Library. Mansions dot the neighborhood’s tree-lined streets, many on Paris-inspired Commonwealth Avenue. This photo captures a wonderful aerial view of multiple historic brownstones in the Back Bay area of Boston. This photo would be a great gift for anyone who loves classic architecture and the city of Boston. This image comes in various standard sizes and is printed on archival paper.

The crookedest street in the world. "Lombard Street is best known for the one-way section on Russian Hill between Hyde and Leavenworth Streets, in which the roadway has eight sharp turns (or switchbacks) that have earned the street the distinction of being the crookedest (most winding) street in the world. The switchback's design, first suggested by property owner Carl Henry[3] and instituted in 1922,[4] was born out of necessity in order to reduce the hill's natural 27% grade,[5] which was too steep for most vehicles. It is also a serious hazard to pedestrians, who are accustomed to a more reasonable 4.86° incline because of wheel chair navigability concerns. The crooked section of the street, which is about 1⁄4 mile (400 m) long, is reserved for one-way traffic traveling east (downhill) and is paved with red bricks. The speed limit in this section is 5 mph (8 km/h)." Wikipedia
