Hi, today I'm sharing pictures of another junk journal I've made. I've wanted to make a sewing themed journal for some time now and I've been collecting ephemera, papers and other related items for the last few months. It has about 60 tea dyed papers and lots of handmade tags, snippets, button cards, laces and more. I hope you'll like it. This journal is for sale in my Etsy store. https://www.etsy.com/shop/OutOfTheCraftroom and I also have a flip through video on my You Tube Channel. https://youtu.be/MGRsW0rP9KQ The button cards are an idea and free download from Elea Lutz https://www.elealutzdesign.com/i-heart-vintage-buttons/ Thanks for visiting, Hugs, Henriëtte.

A Colour picture of my finished design, so that you may use it for inspiration In fact all you need to create your own masterpiece!. Let yourself flow with it, try different ideas and stitches. Don’t try to be neat … be creative! This kit is personally selected from some old, recycled materials and some new, they have linen and crotchet lace (hand dyed to match), some fabrics will be textured, some will be gauzy, some shine, and some are rough, but they will all go together beautifully. You may have your lace cut from a different section, or the dyeing or pattern on the fabric piece you get may be different, but it will be all selected with the overall picture in mind. Each kit follows a theme, or colour. You will also receive some specialty yarns, which can be couched on to add flow and texture to your design. DMC stranded threads and metallic thread for stitching and highlights. I have provided a colour picture of my finished work from the kit, and also there is a booklet where I show you the how to, and also a few stitches, and where you may want to use them along with B&W pictures of different sections of other made up kits to illustrate, and give inspiration. But the essence of this kit, is that you choose, where you want your pieces and where, and how much, you want to stitch and embellish. You can easily keep going and use it as a sampler, to try out other stitches too, or add your own final touches from your own stash. Take time out from your busy lifestyle for some stitch therapy. At the end you can use it to perhaps cover a journal, frame it, or give as a gift. So be creative and practice a little mindfulness with this delightful kit.
