Hello Friends!! Can you believe that it’s time for the September Release Countdown already?!! Seriously, I swear these releases just get over and the next one is starting. Either that or time is just flying by this summer – I suspect it’s the latter. Anywho, I’m popping in today to share a project that I created featuring two of the new September Release products. The Friendly Raccoons Stamp Set and coordinating dies are featured prominently on this project, but there’s a product that you can’t see but has changed my crafty life! LOL The new Double Slider Loop Slots Die-Namics were used to make this card interactive. And you’ll see what I mean if you keep reading below. So I had a minor hand in designing the Double Slider Loop Slots Die-Namics, and I made a video showing you how they work! And this is just one way to use these dies! They truly have several different applications to make your cards interactive! You’ll find the link to the video over at the MFT Design Blog. And I listed and linked all of the products that I used below to create today’s project. In addition to the link to my video, you’ll also find links to the other fabulous projects that my teammates have created using today’s featured products from the September Release Countdown over at the MFT Design Blog! While you’re there, be sure to leave some love along the way for your chance to win a $75 Gift Voucher to the MFT Online Boutique!! All of the new September products will be available for purchase on Tuesday, September 4, 2018 at 10:00 AM EDT! That’s it for me today, friends! I’ll be back again tomorrow with another September Release Countdown project, so I hope you’ll drop by again soon! Thanks so much for spending part of your day here with me! PRODUCTS USED:
Another of my favorite Christmas cards was this fun record player: Isn't it just the cutest??? I would love to take credit for using the die-cut pieces from My Favorite Things' Turntable dies to create this fun fold card--complete with a pocket/sleeve to hold a second "vinyl" record, but this project was CASE'd from Stephanie Klauck, whose tutorial can be viewed HERE. I made several of these cards. They were all made pretty much the same with ever so slight changes to some. There wasn't a good space for writing a message or signing the card, so I used the space on the back of the spare record (in the sleeve/pocket) for this purpose. The outside of the card was kept very simple. You can't tell from the photo, but a Wink of Stella clear glitter brush was used to outline the snowman and the snowy lines on the ground.

I'm staring out through our patio door and can't believe how fast the leaves changed colour, it seems like yesterday that we were camping and it still looked like summer. According to one of the farmers that my husband was talking to we'll have snow by the end of October and it will be here to stay. He claims that from the time the leaves start flying off the trees we have 30 days until winter arrives. Eeeeeeek. Is it bad of me to say that I'm actually looking forward to the snow? I love snow, at least through my living room window, lol. Today's card is one of the cards that we did at Stamp Club on Monday, the inspiration came from Renee S. I love this designer paper! We sprayed the ornaments with shimmer paint and the rest is pretty self explanatory. Stamps: Tags til Christmas, Teeny Tiny Wishes Paper: Early Espresso, Crumb Cake, Very Vanilla, Cherry Cobbler, DSP-Deck the Halls Ink: Soft Suede, Early Espresso, Cherry Cobbler Other: Seam Binding Have a great day!
