I have put together a list of what I believe are the most binge-worthy Netflix series (currently... please don't get rid of any of these shows, Netflix).
The last Christmas I only had a few goals: unwind with the family, make a plan for the new year and binge watch This Is Us and The Crown! I’m very happy to report that I accomplished all of my goals! I’ve said it before that I don’t actually watch shows that often anymore. We don’t have cable (haven’t for years) and truth be told, when I have down time at the end of the day once the kids are in bed, I often find I get the best work done then. I think many entrepreneurs and business owners will attest to spending lots of their “extra” hours doing work stuff. But then this past weekend, I got really sick. Like in bed for four straight days kind of sick. It’s been awful. But you know what that meant? That Netflix and I had a nice, long date again! So I thought I would share with you five binge-worthy shows that I’ve watched over the holidays and this last weekend that I think you would also enjoy, if you haven’t already seen them yourself! 5 Binge-Worthy Shows You Should Watch Now 1. This Is Us I feel like this...

Looking for something new to watch? You've come to the right place! Here's what I recommend. The Tinder Swindler - Netflix An absolutely riveting documentary of the true story of a 20-something Israeli con man who swindles European women, whom he met on Tinder. It's dark and twisty and the most interesting thing to be on netflix in awhile. At the time of writing this, Simon's insta was public and the ladies have a gofundme up. Pam & Tommy - Hulu A Miniseries that follows the story of Pamela Anderson and Tommy Lee's relationship, going back to their whirlwind romance that started with them marrying after only knowing each other for 96 hours in 1995 and how their infamous tape was stolen. The nudity on the show is made from prosthetics. I highly recommend watching The Dirt on netflix to learn more about Tommy. Secrets of Playboy - A&E A 10- part docuseries that explores the hidden dark truths behind the Playboy empire. I used to watch Girls Next Door and read Holly's book so this is all juicy info to me. The Sex Lives of College Girls - HBO Max Created by Mindy Kaling, the show follows the lives of four- 18 year old freshman roommates at a fictional college in Vermont. Deaf U - Netflix This came out in 2020 but you should definitely watch! It's a reality series of a tight-knit group of Deaf students who share their stories and explore life at Gallaudet University. Cocaine Cowboys - Netflix A must watch! The true story of how Miami because the drug capital of the US in the 1980s. With interviews from real housewife Alexia Echevarria as her ex-husband is featured on the show. lol Real Housewives of Miami - Peacock After a 10 year break my favorite cast is back! The Woman in the House Across the Street - Netflix If you watched The Woman in the Window last year, this miniseries has a similar story line and is a spoof on murder mysteries. You know I love my mysteries! In case you're wondering, Kristen Bell drinks hibiscus tea in her wine glass throughout the show. Big Brother Celebrity Edition - CBS This is going faster than regular Big Brother as it's on 3x a week. It stars Lamar Odom, Cynthia Baily, Chris Kattan (SNL), Teddi Mellencamp, Todd Bridges, and Shanna Moakler (Travis Barker's ex-wife). Wentworth - Netflix New season is out of the Australian version of Orange is the New Black. Full description in this post. I've been watching this show from the beginning, it's so good! Being the Ricardos - Amazon A biopic starring Nicole Kidman as Lucille Ball and the story of their marriage and their show I Love Lucy. Debra Messing wanted this role and campaigned for it on social media. I found out that Lucille Ball and Vivian Vance who played Ethel on the show were the same age, but Vivian was required to remain 10 lbs heavier than Lucy so she would look older. Spencer - Hulu Takes 3 days out of the life of Princess Diana as she celebrates Christmas in 1991 with the royals. Kristen Stewart received an Oscar nomination for her role. I know a lot of people didn't like this film because there was no plot, many scenes had Kristen slumped over a toilet and all she did was tilt her head and whisper. I was a big fan of Diana when I was a kid and have watched every documentary about her so I didn't need a plot. This film did share some new to me information about how the royals celebrate Christmas which includes being weighed before and after to ensure they gained weight during Christmas. Yes the Queen sits on an old fashioned chair that is a scale along with everyone else and their weights are recorded in a notebook. They take their shoes off but not their jewelry. Also the royals do a dozen outfit changes within a day during Christmas, which are preselected by someone on their staff who also help them dress. Kristen nailed Diana’s posh British accent that I also found difficult to understand! Kristen also was mysterious, sad and fragile with tired eyes and low energy. You might find the film and long and boring but Kristen did a fantastic job showing how tough it was for Diana to get through that weekend. Emily In Paris Season 2 - Netflix Her fashion is purposely loud and ridiculous so she can stand out as the American in Paris. I don't take this show at face value, I enjoy it simply to watch the scenery in Paris. I haven't been to Paris in 10 years and I'm due for a trip soon. I also bought her camera phone case. Winter Olympics - NBC The opening ceremony was last Friday. The US has a Diplomatic Boycott which means they are not sending any lawmakers or newscasters as an official delegation because of China's human rights violations. You can watch a recap of the opening ceremony here. Halston - Netflix The story of American fashion designer Halston. It's over-the-top and full of style, sex, and drugs. It also stars his friend actress Liza Minelli. It's a five episode series mostly based in the 70s and 80s starring Ewan McGregor as Halston. Trailer Honorable Mention Golden Girls With Betty White's passing I feel nostalgic about this show and want to watch old episodes since I loved this show when I was kid. Here's a few youtube clips: The Golden Girls Had the Best Guest Stars The Golden Girls Tap Dance Golden Girls Opening and Closing Credits and Theme Song Coming Soon Inventing Anna - Netflix A journalist investigates the case of Anna Delvey aka Anna Sorokin, the convicted con artist who pretended to be a German heiress to swindle banks, hotels, and wealthy acquaintances. I read the book written by a former friend who was swindled out of $62K, more than she made in a year. I can't wait to watch this on netflix! In case you're wondering where Anna is now, she did her time for the fraud, but when she continued to post an opulent lifestyle on Instagram so the authorities picked her up and threw her in an ICE detention center where she remains. Produced by Shonda Rhimes and releases on Feb 11. Trailer The series is based on a newspaper article about Anna, the reporter was part of the production of the film so really half the story is the reporter's experience. One way Anna defrauded people was by wearing expensive designer clothing which the costume department of this film had to go to designer secondhand stores to be able to create all those expensive looks. There's two actresses on the film also named Anna- Anna Deavere Smith (Maud the reporter) and Anna Chlumsky (Vivian the main reporter who you may recognize from the 1991 movie My Girl). The Dropout - Hulu The Elizabeth Holmes story is coming on March 3 starring Amanda Seyfried. Bonus Single Drunk Female - Hulu I've only watched one episode so can't recommend it yet. It's about a 20 something in recovery. Ally Sheedy plays the mom and Cynthia Bailey makes a cameo. Soy Georgina - Netflix A six-part documentary chronicles the life of Georgina Rodriguez's life, she's the girlfriend/baby mama of Cristiano Ronaldo. He plays for Manchester United soccer team and she's from Spain and has 30 million IG followers. It’s in Spanish, but you can watch it dubbed in English. I didn't find anything interesting about it. Notice I omitted Just Like That. Sorry can't have Sex and the City without Samantha. All the reviews have been so bad that I haven't watched. Also Tiger King has a new season on Netflix.
