Himmel, ist Basteln entspannend! Während wir hier mit unserer Renovierung gut, aber nicht wie gewünscht vorankommen, muss ich zwischendurch ein bisschen werkeln. Ihr kennet das ja, das Chaos ist perfe
I always get kind of sad at the end of May..... There are so many great products from our Annual and Occasions Catalogs that are retiring!! So....... I try my best to "play" with as many of them as I can before they go!! Here are a couple of great examples of Designer Series Paper that I'm really going to miss!! This first card features a Pineapple Punch card base, a layer of Night of Navy card stock and the star of the show..... that gorgeous Happiness Blooms Designer Series Paper (DS). As of this blog post, this DSP is still available, so order it will you still can!! There is just something about this paper that I can't get enough of!! And.... I love those "pops" of color provided by the Pineapple Punch accents (like that great Pineapple Punch 1/8" Grosgrain Ribbon). You can click on any of the images below to take you directly to my online store. Happiness Blooms Designer Series Paper (RETIRING) 148795 Pineapple Punch 1/8" Grosgrain Ribbon 146953 To finish off this simple card, we stamped "Thanks For That Thing You Did" in Calypso Coral ink on Whisper White card stock. This sentiment is from the All Things Thanks Stamp Set that we featured as our Product of the Week a few weeks ago. We die-cut the sentiment using the Stitched Shapes Framelits, then layered it on top of a 2 1/4" x 2 1/4" Night of Navy square and then a Pineapple Punch scallop square die-cut with the Layering Square Framelits. Finally, we added a couple of the Happiness Blooms Enamel Dots to our sentiment. These fun, liitle dots are carrying over to our next Annual Catalog - yay!! All Things Thanks Stamp Set (RETIRING) 143089/143097 Stitched Shapes Framelits 145372 Layering Square Framelits 141708 Happiness Blooms Enamel Dots 148805 And..... here's another great example of a simple way to use your Designer Series Paper on a card.... For this card, we started with a Call Me Clover card base, then added two pieces of Animal Expedition Designer Series Paper (DSP) to our card. Again, as of this blog post, this DSP is still available to order (but it will retire on June 3). We also added a strip of the Crumb Cake Classic Weave Ribbon to the card and adhered it at the front of the card behind the sentiment. Animal Expedition Designer Series Paper 146902 Crumb Cake 3/8" Classic Weave Ribbon This time, we stamped "Happy Birthday" from the Better Together Stamp Set in Call Me Clover ink. This stamp set is also retiring, so order it will you still can. It has some very versatile sentiments - and.... I love that there is an "outside" sentiment, as well as an "inside" sentiment, for many of these greetings :). We die-cut this oval, along with the Call Me Clover Scallop Oval behind it, using the Layering Oval Framelits. And, again... for that final, finishing touch, we added a couple of Happiness Blooms Enamel Dots to our sentiment. So cute and simple!! As you can see...... just by adding some DSP and a sentiment, you can make a quick, simple cards, too!! Better Together Stamp Set (RETIRING) 141733/141736 Layering Oval Framelits 141706 We made both of these cards at our Simple, Beautiful Card Class this month. If you'd like to make fun cards like this with us, join us for the next..... Simple, Beautiful Card Class Simple, Beautiful Card Class Details can be found here. RSVPs are due by Tuesday, June 11 And.... make sure to shop from the Last Chance Lists while you still can!! You can see all of the Last Chance Products still available here. Stamp Sets are guaranteed to be available until May 24; all other items are only available while supplies last. Oooooohhhhh, there's one more thing..... don't forget... the Deal of the Week ends today..... Hi again all I am now starting to post my cards individually so as to enter some challenges. For this creation I used linen cardstock and unbranded die of butterflies. I used distress oxide for the backing to show off these beautiful creatures.
Hello, and happy Friday! I can't believe its already the end of the week! You haven't heard from me because somewhere, somehow, I picked up the stomach flu bug. I am slowly starting to feel better but as you can imagine, I am behind on everything! So here's a quick post sharing the card I made for my oldest who turned the big twenty-one: I used the Sunburst Sayings Bundle and the Number of Years Bundle - both from the Occasions catalog. I also used the Limited Time Sale-a-bration designer series paper called Perfectly Artistic which can be found on page 19 of the Sale-a-bration brochure and is available only until February 15, 2016. That's it for today! But don't forget to stop by on Sunday and see what the new challenge is at Sunday Stamps! Until then, happy stamping!

Happy Boxing Day! What is one to do on Christmas morning whilst waiting for the family to wake up and start the fun? Why write your blog post, of course! lol. Welcome to the final Stampin' Creative Blog Hop for 2019! I'm Tamara Bertram, coming to you from Edmonton, Alberta, Canada. I'm THRILLED to be hopping with so many AMAZING demonstrators from around the globe. Truly an honour! This month we are bringing you Sneak Peak projects from the upcoming 2020 Sale-a-brations promotion. You don't have to wait much longer - January 3rd you can get SAB products FREE with EVERY $60 (Cdn) you spend. Yes, you will want them all, especially after you see all the great projects we have to share with you. So grab a pencil and paper, hop along and start that wish list for your next order! I decided to showcase the AWESOME "Happy Birthday To You" set. This set is PERFECT for birthdays AND for weddings. I came up with a layout I just LOVE and, as you can see, couldn't stop creating in a variety of colours ... Fun, right?? Yes, I used SCISSORS to cut out the cake but it really wasn't bad at all, as the image is large and easy to maneuver around. The coloured mats are 4 3/4" plus two ticks x 3 1/2" plus two ticks The white top layer is 4 3/4" x 3 1/2" On all Cards I used my 2 1/4" Circle Punch, run through the Scripty Embossing folder. I popped the layers and the cakes up on dimensionals. This card is in Soft Sea Foam and I used my Soft Sea Foam and Petal Pink Blends to colour the cake ... and adhesive backed sequins for bling. The sentiment and cake are embossed in Silver Embossing Powder (EP). This would be a great wedding card ... and you could change the colours to be whatever the wedding colours are. Fun! This card is in Gold. I used my Gold Shimmer Paint and a QTip to colour the cake ... and Gold Faceted Gems for bling. The sentiment and cake are embossed in Gold Embossing Powder. Wouldn't this be a great card for a Golden Wedding Anniversary?? This card is in Purple Posy. I used my Purple Posy and Soft Sea Foam Blends to colour the cake ... and Silver Metallic Pearls for bling. The sentiment was stamped in Highland Heather ink, covered with Clear Embossing Powder and then heat set. This is a technique you can use to get an embossed image in ANY colour! Just make sure you have a juicy ink pad so the EP stick to it ... then heat set! The cake is embossed in Silver Embossing Powder. On this card I had TRIED stamping the sentiment with my Purple Posy Ink and covering it with Clear EP but when I heated the powder the colour changed to blue! Funky but not the look I was going for! lol This card is in Seaside Spray. I used my Seaside Spray and Soft Seafoam Blends to colour the cake. The sentiment was stamped in Seaside Spray ink, covered in Clear EP and heat set. The cake is embossed in Silver Embossing Powder and I used Silver Faceted Gems for bling. This card is in Basic Black. I used my White Frost Shimmer Mist and a QTip to colour the cake. The sentiment was stamped in Memento Black ink, covered in Clear EP and heat set. This is my preferred method to embossing a black image. I find when I use the Black Embossing powder it always leaves little flecks of black on the card, despite using the embossing body. My way of doing it gets the same great black embossed effect but without the flecks! The cake is embossed in Black Powder (flecks really weren't an issue as I cut the image out) and I used Silver Faceted Gems, made black with my dark Black Blend for bling. So there you have it! Five samples of one layout, one stamp set but varying colours and em embellishments. This is my favourite SAB item this year and, as you can see, I have already used it a lot! Starting January 3rd you can get this set for free with a minimum purchase. I hope this has inspired you to get it! Wishing you all a wonderful holiday season! Check out the rest of the SAB Sneak Peak projects my friends have created!

Happy Mother's Day to all the Mums, hope you had a great day with lots of love and hugs from your family. I have had several ladies with me today doing the One-sheet Wonder Class, we had a lot of laughs and really enjoyed the day. During the class we talked about some basic card sketches which are quick and easy to do and how they could be used in their card making. The ladies went home with 12 cards from one piece of designer series paper. I am sharing the cutting template (at the bottom of this post) and card instructions with you. The cutting template is not to scale, however the measurements are detailed. The designer series paper sheet used to make the cards is from the Birthday Bouquet Designer Series paper pack. Card 1 A2 Pool Party card base. Whisper White mat 14.3cm x 10cm embossed with the Lovely Lace Embossing folder. Mats for Flower – Pool Party 7.5cm x 7.5cm & Whisper White 7cm x 7cm, adhere to card front with dimensionals. Flower – Silver Emboss the flower images from Beautiful Bunch, Flower Shop and Petite Petals stamp sets onto Whisper White, do a watercolour wash on the petals using Pool Party ink. Punch out using the matching punches Fun Flower, Pansy and Petite Petals. Layer up with dimensionals and add an Iced Rhinestone for the flower centre. Create the leaves using Whisper White and the Botanical Builder Framelit Dies. Ink the edges of the leaves with Pool Party. Add Silver Metallic Thread to the back of the flower and adhere to the flower mat. Add some Rhinestones to finish panel. Sentiment Panel – Pool Party 10cm x 4.4cm, Designer Series Paper (DSP) 10cm x 3.9cm. Stamp the sentiment from the Wetlands Stamp Set using Basic Black Archival ink. Punch out with the Large Oval Punch and then mat onto a Pool Party Scalloped Oval and adhere to the sentiment panel using dimensionals. Card 2 A2 Pool Party card base. Whisper White mat 13.8cm x 9.5cm. DSP 13.cm x 9cm, adhere this to the Whisper White mat and then to the card front. Pool Party cardstock 8cm x 2.5cm, create a flag one end using the Triple Banner Punch. Stamp the sentiment in Basic Archival Black from the Greatest Greetings stamp set. Add a strip of Rhinestones and adhere to the card front. Card 3 A2 Pool Party card base. Whisper White mat 13.8cm x 9.5cm embossed using the Lovely Lace embossing folder. The sentiment is from the Birthday Blossoms stamp set. Adhere this to the DSP centre panel using dimensionals, add some Rhinestones to finish. Card 4 A2 Pool Party card base. Whisper White mat 13.8cm x 9.5cm embossed using the Lovely Lace embossing folder. Wrap a piece of Pool Party Glitter Ribbon around this piece and adhere this to the card front. Layer these together and adhere to a small Silver Metallic Doily. Adhere the card front using dimensionals. Card 6 A2 Pool Party card base. Whisper White mat 13.8cm x 9.5cm embossed using the Lovely Lace embossing folder. Adhere this to the card front. Centre Panel – Pool Party mat 10.5cm x 8cm. Take the 10cm x 7.5cm piece of DSP and cut the centre out, leaving a 1cm frame. Adhere this to the Pool Party mat. Fold these over a piece of Whisper White Bakers Twine, sticking together with a glue dot (I found this easier than glue or tape). Evenly space the banners along the Bakers Twine and adhere to the centre panel just above the sentiment (again using glue dots). Tie two bows using Bakers Twice and adhere these at each end of the banner. Add some Rhinestones between the flags to finish. Card 7 A2 Pool Party card base. Adhere the top and bottom panels in place and adhere the centre panel with dimensionals. Punch out some small flowers from the left over DSP using the flower punch from the Itty Bitty Accents Punch Pack. Add small Rhinestones to the flower centres to finish. Card 8 A2 Pool Party card base. Whisper White mat 13.8cm x 9.5cm, DSP 13.3cm x 9cm. Adhere these together and then adhere to the card front. Today is my dear friend Cindee's birthday!! I made her this pretty birthday card featuring the Stampin' UP! 2020 Sale-a-Bration set called Happy Birthday to You, and I used the Breathtaking Bouquet stamp as my background! Seaside Spray is my focal color and I think it turned out really gorgeous!! I hope she likes it! My color palette for the Stampin' Blends coloring is shown above: Call Me Clover, Seaside Spray, Night of Navy, Petal Pink and Calypso Coral. You can find all of the Stampin' Blends markers in my online store HERE. I colored them after
Are we ready for more Sale-A-Bration fun and freebies? Next up on my list of toys to play with was Happy Birthday to You, which is slightly mis-named in my opinion, because it's really all about weddings, engagements, showers and anniversaries! I had so much fun coming up with all kinds of cakes. Giving it to you straight--I do recommend purchasing the limited-edition dies to match this free stamp set, as it gives you both a pedestal and lots of options for cutting out extra flowers and foilage. The cakes look even better against a cool backdrop! I made a...
I celebrated a huge milestone birthday last month and was thrilled to be showered with so many cards. Several of these cards were hand-crafted. And of those cards, there were many that were made with
