This is book one of a three book set. The Civil War, a narrative, Fort Sumter to Perryville, by Shelby Foote. This is a thick paperback with 840 pages. Filled with maps as to the battles of the war from 1862-1864. The book is well written and understandable as to the battle movement in the field and the movement of generals, and armies. For me, it showed me more then our school history books ever did. Shelby Foote is know as a great historian, his books and interviews prove that. Measuring 9 1/4 inches top to bottom and 6 3/8 inches side to side and 2 1/4 inches thick. This is a HEAVY BOOK. Condition is good. Stains on page ends on side, see photo. Curl on front cover. Original price sticker on back cover. Several pages are dog eared. Starting this summer and leading into fall, here are a slew of exciting new books that bring fresh angles to feminist questions.
The Family Upstairs is a domestic noir with a fierce female protagonist, who is written with enough grit and relatability to ensure readers can navigate the story alongside, as if experiencing the horrors first-hand. With a set up of fresh death, new life, and interweaving questions, Lisa Jewell presents readers with a puzzle so immense, even the most diligent readers won’t anticipate the twists. Lisa Jewell’s 17th novel, The Family Upstairs, has held its place firmly in bestseller thriller lists since its publication in 2019. This novel exists as a standalone read, however, a sequel to the story is due to be published in 2022. You should read this book if… You’re intrigued by the chaos that ensues when the past and present collide You’re looking for a holiday read consumable in just a few seat-gripping sittings You need a fix of crime thriller and family drama in one package

Comprehension Questions I Survived - The Children's Blizzard, 1888 Written by: Lauren Tarshis This comprehension question packet is designed to challenge your readers with higher order thinking questions. The questions are specifically designed so students will have to support their answers by finding evidence in the text. There is only one questions per chapter, which provides students the opportunity to elaborate their thinking on one topic. Your students can make their responses as long or as short as you would like! I suggest using this packet to supplement guided reading time or literacy centers. ***************************************************************************** Related Products I Survived: The Eruption of Mount Saint HelenI Survived the San Francisco EarthquakeI Survived The Attacks of September 11th, 2001I Survived The Japanese Tsunami, 2001I Survived The Bombing of Pearl HarborI Survived the Shark Attacks of 1916nine, ten: A September 11 StoryUglySlackerSave Me a SeatDrita My HomegirlDASHRaymie NightingaleFrindleHank Zipzer: Niagara Falls, or Does It?Hank Zipzer I Got a D in Salami Randi Rhodes: Ninja GirlThe Legend of Diamond LilStargirlHamster Princess - Harriet the InvincibleShark School The Boy who Cried SharkAndy and TamikaHow to Eat Fried Worms Trouble Maker The Magnificent Mya Tibbs: Spirit Week Showdown The Lemonade WarsThe Oodlethunks: Oona Finds an EggThe Chalk Box KidGooney Bird GreeneThe Mouse and the MotorcycleFantastic Mr. FoxThe JacketThe LittlesDisaster Strikes Tornado AlleyRibsyPunishedThe Chocolate TouchThe Worst Best School Year EverFourth Grade Rats ***************************************************************************** Customer Tips: How to get TPT credit to use on future purchases: • Please go to your My Purchases page (you may need to login).
