Hello everyone! I have some fun news to share, I am going to part of the brand new Eileen Hull Inspiration Team. This fabulous team will bring you a lot of inspiration on using Eileen's fabulous Sizzix dies. I've loved Eileen's dies every since I used them the first time. They are so clever and versatile and make 3-D projects very easy to make. I've picked out a some of my favourite projects made with Eileen's dies. I am not good at picking favourites, since I always have too many. Here's an attempt: One of my top favourites of Eileen's dies is the Candy Drawer die. I used it to make the base for this shadow box, which contains a lot of my favourite elements: ink, stamps, small meaningful details, a special photo and fun techniques. You can find the full tutorial here. I've also used the Candy Drawer die to make a Memory Children's Game, a gift box and a Chest of Drawers. I like to use dies in ways they were not originally intended. This is the Chest of Drawers, made with the same Candy Drawer die. I use it to store my Tim Holtz Idea-ology embellishments. You can find a full tutorial here. I also made a large version of this as an Advent calender. Another of my favourite projects with Eileen's dies is the Heart Shadow Boxes (the original tutorial is here), where I used similar photos of my grandmother, mother and myself to create three shadow boxes. I love birds and I've made quite a few using the Bird die, these are some of them. It is also a tutorial. ' Eileen's dies aren't just for 3-D projects, I use them a lot on layouts and for cardmaking too. Here I used dies from the Picket Fence Collection. I had so much fun making this Love ATC box, filled with ATC cards. The box was made with the Artist Trading Card Box die and I also used some of Eileen's great flower dies. You can find the tutorial here. Finally, four Inky Artist Trading Blocks. This is such a fun new concept, which Amy Bowerman came up with. I used family photos from different generations, Tim Holtz Stampers Anonymous stamps and Distress Ink to make these. You can find the tutorial here. There is also a brand new challenge, the Art with Heart Challenge is a monthly celebration of creativity. Each month the Inspiration Team will be showcasing projects using Eileen Hull’s innovative Sizzix dies and following a broad theme left open to creative interpretation. We invite you to play along with us. We want this to be a place for everyone to create, inspire and share. We would love to see what you do with Eileen Hull’s products but this is not a requirement. There will also be prizes to be won. You can read more about the challenge here. Our theme this month is 'New Beginnings'. I hope you will join us! Happy crafting! Anna-Karin

Good Morning!....I'm still having fun playing with the "Scalloped Tag Topper" punch and thought l would share a simple & cute little milk carton style box that l created with it and the "Petal Parade" SAB stamp set and some In-colours. To create the box, l used two strips of Naturals White cardstock, the first piece was 2" X 10" and the second was 2-1/2" x 10". Both pieces were scored @ 2"-4"-6"-8". The 2" piece is punched at both ends using the Scalloped tag punch The 2-1/2" piece is also scored vertically @ 1/4" & 2.1/4". Remove excess tabs (see pic below) I hope this makes sense, but if not please drop me an email or comment and l will try to explain further..:0) "Thanks for stopping by" All supplies used are Stampin Up unless noted! Stampin' Up! Demonstrator Pootles - Triple Yankee Candle Tea Light Box Spin it then Pin it! How pretty are these boxes?! I love this Floral Boutique Paper
Where have I been? What have I been doing? Making mini albums:) I am so thoroughly addicted! This one is like an exploding box, only instead of a gift or a tea light inside, there are mini albums. I had the MOST FUN making this because the paper is absolutely to die for:) It is the French Country collection from Graphic 45. I used a 12 x 12 pad, a, 8 x 8 pad a package of chipboard die cuts, and a package of tags and envelopes. I saw a picture of an exploding box mini album on line and set out to make my own after studying the pictures. Constructing the box was the hardest part. I can make all kinds of boxes from cardstock, but I thought this needed to be made from chipboard in order to support the weight of the book. I had to make the lid twice to get it to fit correctly. The bottom looks like a cross when it is open - that is two separate sections one adhered on top of the other. I couldn't figure out how else to do it. Outside of the box. The handles are Paper Studio from Hobby Lobby. Side of box on the outside. Top of box on the outside. When you remove the lid the box explodes open and looks like this. The main section is the envelope mini on the right. On the left and behind the envelope mini, are two accordion sections. The top skinny portion is just for decoration while the bottom skinny portion (side of box) contains two mini envelopes with journaling tags. This accordion file folder, with photo mounts for six photos. The file photo mounts inside were made with my Stampin' Up! Envelope Punch Board. The closure on the front flap is a magnetic snap from Basic Gray. Made with 3 black envelopes cut down a bit. Photo mats inside accordion file folder. Photo mats inside accordion file folder. Decorative section. Love this rooster! Envelopes contain journaling tags. The first page in the main section which has a Stack the Deck binding system. This mini is made from black envelopes. This page has an opening at the top for a card containing 4 mats for photos or journaling. Inside of the same card above. Back of the same card above. The back of the first page has a pocket for journaling tags. The journaling tag on the left is a portion of the paper that I cut and put on a card for photos and journaling. Inside card from above photo. This envelope page also has file folder style photo mounts inserted in the top section. Back of the cards shown above. Sigh... isn't this gorgeous paper! Another page set up in the same way. Alternating pages are open from the side for side loading tags. The last page in the envelope mini, with the other accordion file folder on the right.
