Here's a selection of some of the pen and ink portraits I've done in recent years. Many of them are in Chicago/the Chicagoland area. Skills don’t flourish under expertise, get out of the comfort zone, limit your palette and paint your favorite Perfectly Mixed Black And White Paintings. Black and white, after all, are the best medium for landscape.

Architectural drawings, that propose a different way of living. Artist Henn only provides this name as a description, so we are going to focus on the work. Cool design concepts that adapt to the location they are in. In these fantasy drawings, there are no limitations. Any house can be built anywhere, as long as you have the imagination to see it. A very freeing way of looking at the world. Granted not every idea can be applied in reality, but it expands what might be possible. Fantasy and all of its subsections, have inspired scientists, doctors and more... to produce things that without this spark of imagination, would have never been part of our everyday life. The real world is the way, because we enact concepts we see in our minds. Some we are told, we learn, some we can create ourselves... Ps. I gave the images some titles. A long ride to the outpost. Gabriel Yeganyan is is returning this Fall to teach his "Architecture for World Building" class at CDA~!! https://conceptdesignacadstore.com/collections/intermediate-design/products/architecture-for-world-building-with-gabriel-yeganyan This important design class teaches the students the foundations of architecture structure, function and visual design themes to reflect the storytelling of the culture/people who created them. Three key periods of architecture history are covered and broken down during the many in class lectures and demos: - Ancient Civilization (such as Egyptian, Mesopotamian, etc.) - Asian Wood Architecture (such as Japan, China, Thai, etc.) - Medieval Gothic (from various areas in Europe) Students will learn the "anatomy" underneath the building's surface and learn how to use it to help them create believable and rich new worlds from their imagination. This is a class not to be missed by anyone interested in improving on their environment design. Space is limited, sign up soon~! First day of class start on Wednesday, Oct. 11th :)
