Great news! April 2021. I have added some more sizes 44-52ins to the original 32-42ins pattern. PLEASE NOTE: All sizes are included in this pattern, but the instructions for sizes 44-52 are written separately over the last few pages, so read before printing. The pattern also includes a schematic and a chart for an optional lace panel at the back and down the sleeves. (see images of the red version knitted in Rowan 4ply Finest)Inspired by the 18th century short jacket, this classic wrap cardigan is cropped, and would look great worn over an Empire line, high-waisted dress, or as part of a layered outfit. Knitted in a beautiful, soft alpaca mix yarn, it is a modern twist on the classic ballet-wrap.Two ends of lace yarn used together, or 4ply one end can be used. For help with pattern contact me

This is a human larynx (voice box) model. I created the first one as a gift for my late voice teacher when she was retiring. She immediately held it up to her throat and started singing while opening and closing the vocal folds. It stands about 4.5 inches tall. Hyoid bone is white, Cricoid, Arytenoids, and thyroid cartilage, are beige, thyrohyoid membrane and cricothyroid ligament are gray, muscles are mauve, vocal folds and epiglottis are pink. None of it is stuffed, so it has hollow space, but when propped correctly, it stands on its own. You can actually maneuver the vocal cords open and closed (as seen in the first two pictures). FREE SHIPPING IN THE US! NOTE ABOUT PRICING: My prices have gone up and down over the years as I’ve tried to negotiate a compromise between paying myself an okay wage and having my items be affordable. I decided that I’d give you the opportunity to choose your price. My bottom price will pay me $10 an hour. I have it topped out at $23.45 an hour (which is the median pay for craft and fine artists in the US). $15 an hour is generally considered a “living wage,” and a price point that reflects that rate is marked as such. I greatly appreciate any sale, regardless of what you choose, and I thank you in advance for understanding my desire to fully honor my work and time. If you can’t afford a price in the upper range, please don’t feel bad about selecting a lower price option. You are my support base, and I don’t want to lose your business! ABOUT ME: My two little kiddos are my life. I’m addicted to the practice of yoga. I’m a classically trained soprano. I’ve had one cavity my whole live. I don’t believe things without evidence. I use more salt than recommended, and I believe that’s a good thing. I made my own pogs as a child. I enjoy learning traditional Swedish tunes on fiddle. I recognize my own white privilege and try to use it to help proclaim BLACK LIVES MATTER. I’ve crocheted since 1993. I’ve never purchased mp3s online. I buy CDS. I want to try crocheting with cassette tape. I have three yarn cabinets, 2 yarn boxes, and bags and piles of yarn scattered throughout the house at any given moment. I crochet more than a full time job’s worth. I can save anybody with my blood, and I donate as often as I can. I’m pretty much a carnivore, and I realized that digestion is better without fiber! I even have a food Instagram: @Aileen_Cuisine. Conversation with my son when he was 3 years old: Prior: “Who are these?” Me: “Those are your nipples.” Prior: “My nipples wants to take a bath.”
