Hello There ! A nice relaxed weekend for me this week, I hope yours is the same. It`s colour week over at the Simply Less is More Challenge and this time we have a fab combination of GREEN & GOLD I got a bit carried away and made 3 cards This one I`m more pleased with than the others. I started by sponging 3 different green inks onto white card and cutting out the circles with a Nestie die. The leaf is Poppystamps Lorelai Leaf cut from gold mirror card The Smile word is from Penny Black also cut from gold card This one is made from 2 shades of green and some gold paper with fern leaves punched out The sentiment is Waltzing Mouse stamped in clear ink and embossed in gold EP This one is my least favourite The stamp is from Penny Black stamped and embossed in gold EP onto dark green card. I made a panel for the front of my card and cut a circle into it with a nestie die. The sentiment is by Creative Expressions also embossed in gold EP My craft room needs some serious reorganisation. At the moment I`m at the sitting and looking at it stage. When I work out where to start I`ll let you know . Thanks for popping in...Lynne xxx

3D Cat Card DIY - this is super cute and EASY Cat Pop Up Card. Simply darling. Complete with free how to printable & fun Cat Puns for Birthday & Valentines
Hi there, I`m back after being MIA for a while. I`ll explain later. First though I`d like to say a big welcome to Rachel. Thank you for following my blog. This week at Simply Less is More is a colour challenge and it is to use Earth Tones. I love the rich autumnal colours and couldn`t wait to get stuck in, The blocks of colour are actually some that I did for watercolour week but didn`t get time to use, so I thought I`d put them to good use today. I`ve sponged the edges and corners with inks to give them some depth and then a slight spray of gold spritzing ink. The die is Memory Box Flutter Vine cut from some patterned green DP but the pic doesn`t do it justice. I`ve added some bronze coloured pearls and a sentiment from Waltzing Mouse. So I haven`t been around much and I apologise for my lack of commenting. There I am sorting, pricing and boxing cards for the summer fayre when a rotten cold bug decided to pay a sudden visit. Then it took up residence in my sinus`s and on my chest and laid me low for over a week. I did manage to do the fayre but it was such a cold miserable day I don`t think I did myself any good really. I`m feeling much better now, just a nasty lingering cough but it`s so tiring. Anyway I`m on the mend so I`ll be posting a bit more often this week. Not sure how much we raised at the fayre yet but Hull City Council decided to put the Lord Mayors Parade and a free party to celebrate Hull getting City of Culture status on the same day so the turnout was pretty poor. Such a shame because a lot of people had put alot of effort in. I think we`re going to try and organise something else at a later date. Thanks for popping in...Lynne xxx
