It's STAMPtember® at Simon Says Stamp!! STAMPtember® is a month long celebration of Simon celebrating all things stamping, and they picked the month of September to celebrate...thus STAMPtember®(they even registered the name!)!! They are having a month long party to celebrate, starting today, with a BLOG PARTY! Happy STAMPtember®, Simon!! There is an amazing collection of new stamps, dies, foil plates, stencils, and so much more in this release!! I have made a card with two of the beautiful new dies to begin the celebration!!... This beautiful card size die is called Flourishing Bloom Plate, and the sentiment Handwritten Hello! I die cut and layered the plate, and colored with markers. I adhered the flowers to some Simon woodgrain paper. I then die cut the frame once more, this time in the woodgrain cardstock, clipped the stems and leaves off the frame, and adhered to the colored frame. I added the gold cardstock die cut and layered hello. I also bent the leaves just a little for some dimension. Here's a close up... There are SO many WONDERFUL stamps, dies, stencils, hot plates...and so much more, in this huge release, it has been so much fun getting it started!! Now, the fun for you!! Every artist participating in the Blog Party has an offer from Simon for a giveaway! There are different ones on many of the blogs, so, just like a scavenger hunt, you will have to go looking to find the offer that makes you most happy! Here's my offer for you: I LOVE the sentiments in this set...think I may just have to get this one, myself!! You can go to the SIMON BLOG to see all the participants at the party today...I KNOW you will be inspired! Have fun...PARTAYYYY!! Thanks for Partying with me!! Hugs!! Lisa

Simon Says Stamp Printmaking Hearts and Love You wafer die. DIY love card ideas - inlaid die-cutting #cardmaking and #papercraft
Simon Says Stamp has a new release at their store today, LOVE! Oh...my...goodness...what a wonderful release...I am in LOVE!!! I have been having so much fun creating with the new dies and stamps!! I made three cards to show you today, using the new Streaming Heart die! To say I love this die would be an understatement..it's a heart...it is a beautiful heart...the possibilities are endless with a beautiful big heart...oh yes, I forgot to mention...it's wonderfully big:)!! Simple designs...this heart is a show stopper all by itself!! ...the first... simply a heart of LOVE... All three cards were made using paint chips...die cut and layered with chipboard. I embossed the card with a piece of burlap, added a beautiful Simon sentiment from the Thoughtful Messages stamp set, and added some jewel dots. The second one, the heart turns to Birthday love... This one made much like the first, with a change of color and the dots are crystal drops... The third, the heart turns to Thinking of You love... I used the Simon Circle of Leaves die to add leaves to the layered heart. I die cut, then hand cut the leaves from the die cut circle and layered twice. I added another sentiment from the same Simon sentiment stamp set(LOVE this set, too!!). The bottom stripes are from a gift card packaging paper(the packaging has a top and bottom set of stripes...enough for TWO cards...yay:)!!)...I bought a LOT of gift cards(I love this local restaurant, too!)... Here's a close up... The Simon Blog is going to have a blog hop on Saturday...hope you will join me and a lot of amazing artists to see and get inspired by this new release!! Thanks for visiting me today!! Hugs!! Lisa
Hey friends! Simon Says Stamp’s March 2024 Card Kit is HERE
Simon Says Stamp clear stamps are high quality photopolymer and made in the USA. This stamp set measures approximately 6 x 8 inches and coordinates with the Garden Greetings die set (sssd112213c).
I received my Simon Says Stamp June Card Kit yesterday and couldn't wait to dive in and play! I tried the gorgeous stamp set first. supplies: white, black, and pink card stock, striped dp, Simon's Beautiful Flowers, markers to color I stamped the floral on an A2 panel, colored it, then trimmed out the left side and layered it over the striped paper. The sentiment is just one of many in this set - Simon has hit this one waaaaaay out of the ballpark! One more, adding in the beautiful embossing folder in the kit: supplies: white card stock, watercolor paper, vellum, Beautiful Flowers stamp set, Sizzix/Tim Holtz Botanical embossing folder, lemonade and worn lipstick distress inks and water, alcohol markers I inked the "flat" side of the embossing folder with distress inks, then spritzed with water, and ran a piece of watercolorpaper through my cuttlebug. (For anyone interested, my sandwich is the A plate, the loaded embossing folder, and the B plate.) The sentiment was stamped on a strip of vellum and colored with the same markers I used for my flowers. I can't wait to try those dreamy design papers next!

The new Alstroemeria Stem die set from Simon Says Stamp and their new Dream Big release, is beautiful! I decided that this beauty was perfect to be showcased solo, so I have made a super CAS card for a friend... I die cut the pieces from white cardstock and colored with my prismacolor markers. I took my cream color marker and colored in the middle of the flower, achieving a yellow center, after which, I used a fine black marker to give a little detail to the flower. I used a sentiment from the Soaring Birthday stamp set, stamped with versamark and silver embossed. I popped up the panel on the card, and here's a close up... My true loves in card making are dies and CAS, lately I'm really feeling so led to create in that style, and with the wonderful dies from this release! There will be more! Thanks for visiting me today!! Hugs!! Lisa

Hi guys! I thought I'd pop in quick with a card I created last night. I do love coloring with Copic markers! I used the new, Bouquet of Thanks stamp set from Simon Says Stamp. It's a beauty! I love how the flowers are grouped together and they have a bit of a whimsical feel, don't they? So fun! That sentiment is included in the set, along with some other really good ones! I just added a few sequins, popped it onto a card base and called it done. I've added a list below which includes the stamp set, the matching die set and the Copics I used, in case you're interested. Thanks for the visit. I hope all my American friends have a wonderful 4th of July weekend and holiday! Hugs ♥
The newest Simon Says Stamp card kit was revealed today and it's a stunner! Anything with flowers is always a favorite of mine and since it is the April kit, it is full of them! The kit is called Friendly Flowers. In my "one stamp, five ways" posts, I focus on the stamp set which is sold alone and is also called Friendly Flowers. I also used many of the other kit contents on my cards including that gorgeous 6x8" patterned paper by Simple Stories called Cottage Fields. Here are my five cards: CARD 1: This card is the new slimline size which is 6.25" x 3.25". I cut a piece of the patterned paper that had the butterflies on...

Hi everyone! I'm stopping by today to share a few cards made with a number of Simon Says Stamp Dies and Ranger's Alcohol Inks. I've officially jumped on the Alcohol Ink band wagon...and thought I'd pull out my old Alcohol Inks to see if they were still good. I'm happy to report that they still worked just fine! :) Read through to the end of the post to find out who the Simon Says Stamp April Card Kit winner is! Here are today's cards: For each card I took Yupo Paper and used two different colours of Alcohol Inks along with Snow Cap Mixative and Alcohol Blending Solution to create my backgrounds. I moved the Alcohol Inks around with the Tim Holtz Distress Marker Spritzer Tool. Once dry, I diecut the pieces with the rectangle from Simon's Bundle of Stitches Dies and added them to matching pieces of cardstock. I diecut Simon's Balloons, Talk Bubbles, and Hearts from vellum, anding black diecut sentiments and shapes to them. (All supplies listed at the end of the post). I adhered these pieces to the card fronts, placing my adhesive behind the black diecuts so it would be hidden. Finally, I trimmed off the vellum that hung over the edges of the cards. Supplies (Affiliate links used at no extra cost to you... I appreciate your support!) Before I go, the winner of the Simon Says Stamp April Card Kit is... Shona Chambers who said... I love how you stamp and colour over patterned paper. I would never think to do that and it looks so amazing. Thank goodness for your inspiration!!!! March 18, 2018 at 4:25 AM Congrats Shona! Please message me via my side bar with your mialing info so I can pass it on to Simon!
