I was so excited to dive into the gorgeous Texture Chic Specialty Designer Series Paper from the Stampin' Up! 2022-2023 Annual Catalog! To showcase its beauty, I kept today's card simple with just a sentiment and a couple coordinating embellishments. This thank you card debuts the Deckled Rectangles Dies
I don't know about you, but I am SO ready for summer weather! Here in Oregon, the rainy days continue after experiencing the "wettest April on record"...and I'm ready for the beach! So in lieu of sunny weather, I reached for my new Season of Chic stamps, the Chic dies and some absolutely gorgeous new papers: Texture Chic and Distressed Gold. And look what happened: OMG, I'm so in love! I first wanted to showcase this beautiful Texture Chic designer paper. I cut a 3" x 4-1/4" piece of scrap cardstock and bordered it with Tear & Tape adhesive. After removing the protective liner paper, I smooshed the piece face down in Gold Leafing to give the shiny edge to the cardstock. Then I adhered a slightly smaller piece of the Texture Chic paper over the top, leaving the gold edges exposed. Be still my heart! This was attached to the Evening Evergreen card base, with a layer of Evening Evergreen (cut with the new Deckled Rectangle dies and embossed with the Painted Texture embossing folder). 💓 (beating heart!) Then came the "decorating" - look at the beautiful fishnet. The Distressed Gold paper was cut with one of the Chic dies (I only used half of it), and the greeting, stamped in Versamark and heat-embossed with Gold Embossing Powder on Soft Succulent cardstock was cut with the new Stylish Layers dies. The shell was stamped, embossed with gold and cut with a die, and the little shell was cut from the Distressed Gold paper. So pretty! All that was needed was a few jewels - the 2021-2023 In Color Opal Rounds were perfect! Who's ready for the beach? Hi Stampers! Happy Monday and welcome to my post for Kylie's Stampin' Up!® Demonstrator Training Program Monthly Blog Hop! We are a group of Stampin' Up!® Demonstrators from around the world that are taking part in training that is helping us to build a successful Stampin' Up!® business and reach some goals we have set. We really appreciate your support. You may be starting here or have come from another blog - either way you can find the link list at the bottom of this post so that you can see every blog post today. This is my customer Thank You cards for October. They are using the Texture Chic Suite. I was looking to make quick but gorgeous cards, and the Texture Chic DSP and the coordinating Cards & Envelopes were just what I was looking for. I die cut the tags using pieces from the Texture Chic Memories and More pack and the Tailored Tags dies, then stamped the Thanks from the Season of Chic stamp set in Soft Suede ink. I cut a strip of the Texture Chic DSP to go behind the tag. I then stamped two leaves, one in Petal Pink ink and the other in Pool Party, then die cut them each with the corresponding die as well as an additional leaf from the Distressed Gold Specialty paper. I tucked the leaves behind the tag. I attached a Petal Pink ribbon to the tag, securing it with scotch tape on the back of the tag and gathering it in the gold Simply Elegant trim which I tied in a bow. I placed the tag at a slight angle and attached it with Stampin' Dimensionals. Here is an up close view of just one card: So pretty! I love all the gold sparkles, and I hope my customers will too! If you want to recreate these cards, the measurements and supplies I used are below. If you need any supplies you can click on the item to be taken straight to that item in my online store to shop with me for whatever you need. Today's card features Cottage Rose along with Texture Chic DSP. I used the sketch from this weeks Global Design Project to give me inspiration. The card front is a panel of Petal Pink card stock with a panel of Texture Chic DSP adhered to it.
