Hi friends and welcome to tonight's blog post. I thought I would share a little set of 3" x 3" cards with you all. I absolutely love making these mini card sets and gifting them to friends for their birthdays. I have so much fun personalising them to suit each one's likes and tastes. I'm giving this set to my friend Sue for her birthday. I start with a Thick Whisper White card base that measures 6" x 3", and score along the 6" side @ 3" to create the centre fold line. I cut five squares of cardstock to 2 3/4" x 2 3/4" in Cherry Cobbler, Bermuda Bay, Pumpkin Pie, Daffodil Delight and Rich Razzleberry and ran these through the Layered Leaves 3D Dynamic TIEF. Taking the double flower image from 'Petal Palette' stamp set, I stamped onto a stitched square of Thick Whisper White C/S with Memento Tuxedo Black ink, and coloured with Stampin' Blends in the embossed panel colours. I attached these squares to the card with dimensionals. To hold the cards I made a box on the Envelope Punch Board and secured with a belly-band. I stamped and die-cut the same flower image and layered onto another stitched square of Cherry Cobbler and attached this to the belly-band with Tombow glue. I brushed Wink of Stella over all of the flowers for a lovely sparkle and added (retired) Glitter Epoxy shapes. For the flowers on the box I used Rhinestones. The set is complete with our matching 3" x 3" envelopes. Thanks for stopping by today. I have a list of all the products I've used to create this mini card set below. Until next time..... I always try to pop a thank you card into a customer's bag when they've placed an SU! order with me. You can track SU! parcels so you always know what day your order will arrive - but not what time of day. I'm always very fidgety on delivery day 'cos I'm SO impatient for the box to arrive. Every time I hear a vehicle that could be a truck I dash to the window and it's very rare for the UPS man to need to ring the doorbell! This time I thought that whilst I was waiting I'd occupy myself by making the batch of cards I needed for the August orders. I made Very Vanilla card bases which measure a tad over 4" square. I stamped the borders in Crumb Cake ink, the leaves in Old Olive ink and the sentiments in Rose Red ink. I stamped the flowers in Rose Red ink onto Blushing Bride CS, punched them out and added Rose Red ink to each flower with a sponge dauber. I snipped between each petal, did some shaping, added a jewel to the centres and popped them up. Here's one card on its own. I stamped a flower inside each card and a name label on each envelope. Here's the full batch of seven cards ready to write and be popped inside the bags with the goodies. I always find it so very satisfying to see a bunch of cards all together and I had a very happy time in my craft room making them! I was also very happy that the cards were all ready before the delivery arrived which meant that I got to play with my own new goodies quicker! Supplies: Stamps: SU! 'Summer Silhouettes', 'Flower Shop' & 'Sassy Salutations' sets CS: SU! Very Vanilla & Blushing Bride Ink: SU! Crumb Cake, Old Olive & Rose Red Tools: SU! Pansy punch, Stamp-a-ma-jig, sponge dauber Embellishments & accessories: SU! Rhinestone Jewels, Dimensionals

In the past, I used the Stampin’ Up! watercolor crayons, Stampin’ pastels and watercolor pencils, but this year those items were discontinued and I needed to rethink how to color my cards. Joanne has set us an interesting theme this week at The Paper Players - Lunch Box Love Notes. I have to confess to being not entirely sure what these are, so I assumed the obvious. Whose lunchbox would I put a note in? When the children were at school, I suppose I might have done that and I'd have done it to remind them that I was thinking of them and to remind them how great they were. This led me to one of my new sets from the 2018-19 Annual Catalogue, A Big Thank You. It's so easy to get carried away with the dramatic die-cut 'Thank You' that bundles with this set but the stamp that's my favourite is the 'You are the best' one. So that's the basis of my set of little 3"x3" lunchbox love notes. I made one in each of the five 2018-20 In Colours: Lovely Lipstick, Blueberry Bushel, Call Me Clover, Pineapple Punch and Grapefruit Grove. That sweet little heart stamp is one of the little doodads and bits that are part of A Big Thank You. Who would you give a Lunch Box Love Note to? The Paper Players would love to see what you do. Here's a reminder of our rules: Create a new paper project. Upload your project to your blog with a link back to The Paper Players. Provide a direct link to your blog post for your challenge entry. Please link your card to no more than FOUR challenges (including ours). Enjoy! Please take note of these few rules as entries that do not comply will be deleted from the gallery. One of the things I will miss in next year's Annual Catalog is the polka dot pattern in the Designer Series Paper 6 x 6" stacks. Be sure to request a copy of the brochure today, if you don't already have one. Sale-a-bration is also a great time to join our fabulous team - just ask any of the girls on the blog hop for more details! Here's my creation. If you are a regular visitor to my blog, you'll know that I love to make square cards and gift sets of 3" x 3" note cards. The gorgeous colours in the Organdy Ribbon and Botanical Butterfly DSP, were crying out to me to create this set of 5 note cards. And of course, I just had to incorporate the beautiful Country Floral Dynamic embossing folder. These are all level 1 products, and the embossing folder can be found in the second release brochure. Each of the embossed panels is adhered to a square of cardstock in the corresponding ribbon colour. The five sentiments come from the Itty Bitty Greetings stamp set in the Annual Catalogue, and I cut them out using the stitched shapes ovals framelits. They are all stamped in Memento Tuxedo Black ink on Whisper White cardstock and then adhered to a matching coloured scalloped oval. I punched the same coloured butterfly for each card from the Botanical Butterfly DSP, using the Butterfly Duet punch, attached them with a mini dimensional and added some sparkle with the clear Wink of Stella pen. The flower sequins are from the Gingham Gala suite and I added a tiny pearl to the centre of them from an old retired pack of basic pearls. The organdy ribbon comes in a set of 5 colours: Balmy Blue, Daffodil Delight, Grapefruit Grove, Highland Heather, and Lemon Lime Twist. I also made matching envelopes. Stampin' Up! products coordinate beautifully! Here I used the Gingham Gala 6" x 6" Designer Series Paper to decorate the back flap of the 3" x 3" envelopes. Now, this little set of cards had to have a home - didn't they? I decorated one of our mini pizza boxes to hold them. The only problem was, I had run out of Balmy Blue cardstock for the blue card, but Night of Navy is a lovely contrast with the soft blue, as you can see in the photo below. Here they are with their matching envelopes. This is one little set I'm going to have trouble giving away! Thanks for joining us on our hop tonight, now it's time to head over to the next participant, our lovely and talented team leader Claire Daly. If you find a broken link or have come to this hop from a different entry point, below is the list of tonight's participants. Sue Madex Tina Gillespie Ros Davidson Kathryn Mangelsdorf Rachel Woollard Rebecca Jacovou Caroline Manwaring Claire Daly Kate Morgan Judy May Catherine Proctor If you're leaving a comment below, thank you so much. I read and appreciate them all. 💗 Until next time..... Stay happy & stay crafty! 😘
Check out these adorable 3 x 3 Mini Note Cards. I've used a variety of stamp sets plus made several with the scrappy strips technique too!
I am in love with this FREE Sale-A-Bration stamp set, Flowering Fields, it comes with 6 flower stamps and a butterfly and the sentiments all come from the new Rose Wonder stamp set. My cards were inspired by the very talented Louise Sharp to make a selection of five cards using the in colours with a matching gift box. The small cute cards measure 3 3/4" square so you can make 3 card bases out of one piece of A4 cardstock. Each card is stamped in Black Stazon ink and then I used the Stampin' Write Markers that match the in colours to colour in the flowers. I made the 4" x 4" x 1/2" gift box using the Envelope Punch Board. The Crafty Owl Box Buster gives you instructions and measurements to make it oh so easy. Stamp Set: Flowering Fields, Rose Wonder Cardstock: Crumb Cake, Whisper White, In Colour Designer Series Paper Stack Ink: Black Stazon, Stampin' Write Markers Accessories: Envelope Punch Board, Whisper White Baker's Twine The gift box that fits the five cards and envelopes. The five 3 3/4" square cards.
Happy Wednesday My Blogger Friends and today I have Part Two of the 3x3 cards my fellow SaddleBrooke Stampers exchanged in March. Let's jump right in ......... Here's another shot of what all 25 cards look like........ The sweet little girl card was made by Joan ....... The butterfly card did not have a name stamped on the back ..... Nor did the yellow flower card ...... and my good stamping friend Gail made the " Thanks So Much" tea cup card. This next batch of 3x3 cards were all made by the gals in my FU Group. The Kindness Matters" card was made by ME! The rosette card was made by Kris (Fabulously Unique if I do say so myself). Ann made the package card (How ADORABLE). And Debbie made the "OH SO SWEET" (and OH SO PRETTY) pink scallop baby rattle card. (I'm sure you can tell that these ladies are Fabulously Unique and live up to their name of being part of the FU Group!) Mary made the pink and purple flower card ....... Judy made the super fun pin-wheel card ...... The cardinal card was made by Marian ...... Opal made the GORGEOUS black and white vase card ..... and my Ranch GalPal Chris made the SUPER FUN green circle card. I know that this new venture at making little 3x3 cards is going to be a HUGE HIT with the SaddleBrooke Stampers and I look forward to joining in on the fun for April - which our challenge is Never Grown Up with the optional technique of Childhood Memories. I have a super fun card that involves Monster in the Closet for my April card ....... I'm just hoping that what's in my head - can be put into a little 3x3 card for this challenge. Guess you'll just have to return in April to see what I came up with. Many thanks for joining me today - I have a FUN PACKED DAY planned with my FU Gals today. We are meeting for lunch today (at my house) and filling the afternoon with our monthly meeting and then all the gals are draging their husbands out for dinner tonight as a group. SHOULD BE FUN and a great way to get all the guys meeting. I'll be back tomorrow to share the Stamp Camp cards we made in March - Hope you can join me for that share. Keep Living Your Dream!

Playing Bingo cards is a fun way of learning various basic skills of literary and numeric nature. And, their role is not limited to development of word and number literacy only. You can modify Bingo game in as many ways as desired. But, the bingo card packet comes with limited templates. So, does it mean the end of the game when the cards are used up? Well, not at all. It is possible to design Bingo cards templates and mold them according to the game's aim.
