Do you need an affordable gift for friends & work colleagues? Then this chocolate slider featuring Stampin' Up!'s retiring Leaves of Holly bundle is the perfect solution. You simply make an open ended box and slide a chocolate bar into it between some ribbon and tie it into a bow. Pull the ribbon bow and the chocolate slides out of the box. These slider boxes can be made to fit any size of chocolate bar and decorated to suit any occasion. I've used the retiring Stampin' Up! Leaves of Holly stamp set & co-ordinating Holly Berry dies to decorate the largest chocolate slider, but you could use any embellishments to suit your purpose. The products used on this project can be purchased from my online store if you live in Australia. Thanks for visiting.

Hi everyone, Happy New Year! I spent New Year's Eve at home creating cards, this is my happy place. I will be posting more projects I made over the next couple of days. I made a slimline card by using the Kraft 6" x 6" Paper Pack. Making card bases using this Paper Pack is so easy, just score at 3" and fold in half, instant card base. I cut a piece of Copper Foil Sheet at 13.5cm x 4.5cm and then die cut it using the Stitched Greenery Die. This die does not actually cut out the paper but cuts this gorgeous leaf and branch image into the paper. I then cut a piece of pattern paper from the Splendid Day Specialty Designer Series Paper at 10cm x 5cm. I matted these two onto pieces of Basic White cut a 13.8cm x 4.8cm and 10.3cm and 5.3cm. The sentiment from the Framed Florets stamp set was stamped using Black Memento ink on a stitched circle cut using the Stylish Shapes Dies. The embellishments I used are a punch vellum leaf, Open Leaf Trinket, Glittered Organdy Ribbon and Champagne Rhinestones Basic Jewels. I hope you enjoyed this project. Happy New Year!!! For the first day in 2023, "let's celebrate" with the Splendid Day Suite. It was an early release that was published in the July-December 2022 Mini Catalog, and now it
On Monday I shared a card I created using the Splendid Thoughts Bundle and the Splendid Day Designer Series Paper. Today I wanted to show how you can use the same products and add a different DSP and a different color of cardstock along with some extra embellishments and have a whole different card. I even changed the direction of the card to make it fresh. Here is what I came up with… The card base is Pale Papaya cardstock that is cut to 5 ½ x 8 ½”, scored at 4 ¼”. I cut a piece of the Splendid Day DSP that is copper colored foil to 2 ½ x 5 ½” and then mounted that onto a piece of Basic White cardstock that measured 2 ¾ x 5 ½”. I added this to the left side of my card base. I then took a scrap of the Pale Papaya cardstock and stamped the sentiment “sending hugs” (also from the bundle) onto it using VersaMark Ink and added some White Stampin’ Emboss Powder and heat set it using my Heat Tool. Once I had that done, I die cut it using one of the stitched circle dies from the Stylish Shapes Dies. Next, I took a piece of Basic White cardstock and using the little stitched flag die from the Stylish Shapes Dies I die cut it. I took that flag and added it to the back of the circle I stamped my sentiment onto. Then I added this whole piece to the front of the card using Dimensionals. I then grabbed up some scraps of Basic White cardstock and die cut my foliage pieces from the Splendid Thoughts bundle (I did three different ones) and tucked them up under my sentiment pieces. To embellish my card, I tucked one of the Open Leaf Trinkets up under the sentiment and attached it with a Mini Glue Dot. I created a bow from the Pale Papaya 3/8” Open Weave Ribbon with another Mini Glue Dot. Finally, I added three of the Elegant Faceted Gems to the card. I hope you enjoy this card I certainly enjoyed making it. As always you can find the supplies to create this card and much more on my website at https://craftwithronnie.stampinup.net or by click the shopping button at the top of this blog or the link to the supplies listed below. Hi Everyone, For Fun Fold Friday this week, I have made a Triple Step Card using the lovely Summer Shadows dies and the Splendid Day designer series paper with a label and sentiment from the Natures Prints bundle. You could make this style card for any occasion and use any dsp and die sets to change it up and make something that looks different every time. Materials 1 piece of thick white card 11" x 6" 1 piece of basic white 4 1/8" square, 1 piece 3 5/8" square, 1 piece 3 1/8" square and a scrap for the sentiment 1 piece of dsp 5 3/4" x 2 3/4", 1 piece 1 1/4" x 5 3/4", 1 piece 3/4" x 5 3/4" (for the card base) 1 piece of dsp 3 7/8" square, 1 piece 3 3/8" square, 1 piece 2 7/8" square Scraps of flirty flamingo, granny apple green and basic white for the die cuts Memento black ink Natures Prints stamp set Natural Prints dies Summer Shadows dies Stampin Cut & Emboss Machine Iridescent rhinestones Iridescent pearls Trimmer Simply Scored Multipurpose adhesive Dimensionals Take Your Pick tool Bone Folder Instructions On the long side score the thick white at 3", 6", 7 1/2", 9" and 10" and fold and burnish concertina style to make the card base. Add the dsp layers to the card base and all the mats. Die cut as many flowers and sets of leaves as you want, I've done an assortment of sizes as you can see. This is a two part die set so you layer up the flowers and leaves to give definition, I used a fine tip glue applicator on the intricate dies - you could use our adhesive sheets if you wanted to. Stamp a sentiment and die cut with the label from Natural Prints. Adhere the mat layers to the card base starting with the largest and make sure it sits in the fold and is central. It's then quite easy to line up the two smaller mats so that they lie central to the one behind. Arrange the flowers and leaves and add the sentiment to the front panel. You can add as many or as few as you like, I've just put a couple of flowers on each layer but it's up to you, it's your card. Add rhinestones and pearls to the flower centres for a bit of added sparkle. I think this is a lovely card and I will be making lots more using other sets, I hope that you like it too. Awhile back, Stampin' Up!® offered a demonstrator-only crafting event. It was a blast! We learned new techniques and had fun exploring the gorgeous Splendid Day Suite, with its multi-coloured, patterned foil papers. My favourite card at the event was a lovely one that focused on Stampin' Blend Markers and a little bumblebee stamp: We started with a standard 5 1/2" x 8 1/2" card base in Soft Sea Foam. Then we added a 3 1/4" x 4 3/4" panel of Splendid Day DSP on an angle. On a 3" x 4 3/4" Basic White panel we scribbled all the way across with Fresh Freesia Stampin' Blends on the bottom and Pool Party Stampin' Blends on the top, to create almost a watercolour look. Next we stamped the bumblebee from the Splendid Thoughts stamp set in Pool Party and Fresh Freesia, over the marker colouring. What a cool effect! That just left the finishing touches: stamping the sentiment in Fresh Freesia on a scrap & cutting chevrons in the label's ends, attaching a length of beautiful Soft Sea Foam Seam Binding Ribbon to the back of the label, and adding a couple of Soft Sea Foam die cuts made with the Splendid Stems Dies. Once we attached those, we had a very cheerful and elegant card to show for it! Would you like to have the chance to attend events like this? I warmly invite you to consider joining my team, Creative Cafe. This is my example for the July SU! Colour Challenge I love this simple 3 colour pallette and it worked perfectly for a pot of plants. I used the Stampin' Up! Splendid Thoughts stamp set in a number of ways to create my card. I used the leaf stamp to create the background pattern with some light blending as well as on the the pot to create texture. I created the leaves in the pot by stamping and die cutting with the Splendid Stems Dies and some detailed ones in vellum for extra texture. The sentiment is stamped and hand cut. The Rhinestones are coloured Night Of Navy Stampin' Blends. I grounded the pot with the Light Smoky Slate and Color Lifter.
