When you start with a stamp from the Beautiful Moments Stamp Set, it's hard to beat simple stamping. I rarely make a card without die-cutting, but this card is just stamps, ink and paper; true
I've been a busy girl these days: quilting, appliqueing, shooting a few books and ... watching some great high school baseball games. I set deadlines and goals for myself and when I meet a deadline or reach a goal I treat myself to a little crafting time. With the stained paper towels still sitting on my work table, I just...

I was instantly drawn to the gorgeous little creatures in the Love you Lots Set for two reasons. 1.They are super cute and 2. They are fabulous to add some colour to, one of my crafting passions. Yay! I've created 4 cards for you today with all the same design but just changing the little animals from the set. They are very 'clean' from they way that I normally create but I really love the clean lines and the less is more look. I stamped the images with Stazon and then using and aqua painted picked up the colour from the lid of the ink pad and then added some colour. Super cute! Right??!!! If you want to get your hands on some of these Host Sets you can either have a 'party' with me (Australian Residents Only) and have $250 + in sales to qualify or place an order for Stampin' Up! products $250 or more and you can get one of these sets without having a 'party'.You can email me to place and order or you can order straight from my online store HERE Please contact me for more information and I'd love to help you TODAY! Hi everybody!! Today is the start of a new challenge at Wild Orchid Challenges and what we want you to do is use blue and/or purple tones on your projects. I needed one more teacher gift so I decided to make another Slip Cover box as these are super quick to make and decorate it with Tweetest Friends by Little Cottage Cuties from Whimsy Stamps. This means I'll have two of these boxes to give to the teachers, the other one being THIS one with the Flower Fairies I did earlier. The image was actually pretty challenging to 3D paper piece but I do like how it turned out. The pretty design paper I used is by Maja Design and it's from the Vintage Spring Basics line. I used purple and white cardstock and I embossed the white decorative layer with a Birds and Swirls Cuttlebug Embossing Folder. The pretty decorative die-cut behind the image is of course cut with the largest Spellbinders Floral Oval Nestabilities. The absolutely gorgeous ribbon is Mermaid Pale Lavender 15mm ribbon from The Ribbon Girl. I absolutely LOVE this ribbon and need to get me more colors. The Wild Orchid Crafts products I've used are: Rhinestones Lilac (100) Mixed Colour Large Pearl Brads Ivory Open Roses 20mm Mixed Purple/Lilac tone Trellis Roses 35mm Purple Open Roses 25mm Mixed Purple/Lilac Cosmos Daisy Flowers Ivory Open Roses 25mm Lilac Crown Pins A close up of the pretty image. As always colored with Copic Markers (sorry... forgot to take down the colors again :( and 3D paper pieced. I decided not to paper piece the little flowers. And the little pieces the image was made of. Hope you like my project and will get inspired to join us at Wild Orchid Challenges. Have a great day everybody!!! Hugs,
Today I have a card to share with you that I'm sending my friend for her birthday. I wonder if she'll see it on here first or if she'll get it in the mail. I guess I'll have to wait and see. I have to admit I haven't created much lately and I told myself it was time to get busy creating again, so I watched some videos to get inspired and did just that! I used a new stamp set from the SU! mini catalog called Art Gallery and my design was inspired by a sketch at Splitcoaststampers (SC839) and I will also be posting it on Creating with Team Stamp Camp HERE. Pumpkin Pie Daffodil Delight Granny Apple Green Pear Pizzazz Pool Party Balmy Blue Basic White This is the Splitcoaststampers sketch I used. Now it's time to mail my card and wish my friend a Happy Birthday! Thanks for looking and have a great day! Sara Remember all products used are listed at the bottom of each post. If you have questions feel free to contact me. Just click "Contact Me" at the top of my blog. Supplies used on this card:
