Today I’m sharing with you an Easter card made with the Easter Lilies stamps and dies. In the video tutorial you will learn to create a beautiful background
Happy Wednesday Friends, Today's post is for Still addINKtive's Spot That Stamp Set and we are to feature any current Stampin' Up! Easter Set. For this card I have used stamp sets that can be adapted in a more traditional sense for Easter, instead of the Everybunny set which is one of the only current Easter sets available at Stampin' Up! here in Australia. When I used the Framed Tulips E/Folder on my 10.2 x 14.5cm Whisper White card I embossed 3/4 of the card and then turned it around, lined up the embossing and embossed the rest of the Whisper White panel, this gave me just over a centimetre more than the size of the embossing folder. Unfortunately this is my last post for Still addINKtive as Bronwyn and Kathy have decided to close the Challenge Blog due to their other commitments. Supplies: Stamps: S/U's Crosses of Hope, Everybunny, Bloomin' Marvelous, Oh, Hello Card: Elegant Eggplant, Whisper White Ink: Elegant Eggplant, Wisteria Wonder, Lucky Limeade Finishing Touches: Pearls Cool Tools: Big Shot, Sizzix Framed Tulips E/Folder, Sizzix Ovals Collection Framelits, Stamp-a-ma-jig, Sponge, Dble Sided Tape, Dimensionals, 2 Way Glue Pen Thanks for stopping by today. I love to hear from you. Hugs,

Easter is four and a half weeks away, so it's time to start thinking about Easter cards. I don't usually send cards for Easter, but this year I think I will. The images in the stamp set Easter Message are so simple, yet powerful, and are easy to color if you choose, or just leave as is. I used the Sunburst Thinlits die as a mask, centering it on the cardstock and sponging So Saffron lightly in the gaps. The cross was stamped in Basic Black and colored with blender pens and Soft Suede. The rope is Crumb Cake and the drape is Perfect Plum. I thought the message needed a fancy label, so I used the retired Apothecary Accents Framelits, popped up on dimensionals. The message inside says "May peace be your gift this Easter", and is from the Suite Sentiments stamp set. Here are the measurements: Image: Whisper White 3-3/4" x 5" Mat: Daffodil Delight 3-7/8" x 5-1/8" Card base: Perfect Plum 5-1/2" x 8-1/2" score & folded at 4-1/4" Product List Easter Message Clear-Mount Stamp Set [142987] Suite Sentiments Clear-Mount Stamp Set [142971] Whisper White 8-1/2" X 11" Card Stock [100730] Daffodil Delight 8-1/2" X 11" Card Stock [119683] Perfect Plum 8-1/2" X 11" Card Stock [101889] Basic Black 8-1/2" X 11" Card Stock [121045] Basic Black Archival Stampin’ Pad [140931] So Saffron Classic Stampin' Pad [126957] Soft Suede Classic Stampin' Pad [126978] Crumb Cake Classic Stampin' Pad [126975] Perfect Plum Classic Stampin' Pad [126963] Blender Pens [102845] Big Shot [143263] Sunburst Thinlits Die [140617] Stamping Sponges [141337] Stampin' Dimensionals [104430]
Here's my entry for the Tuesday Morning Sketch #393 using a Lil Inker stitched Bunny die and some smoky slate cardstock. I'm also entering this into the Double D Challenges - to think spring. I dotted the cardstock with several grey Copics trying to make it look like fur - but it just looks stained to me as if I splashed something on it! LOL I need to find a tutorial for creating fur with Copics and if I look, I'm sure I'll find something in my overflowing Pinterest boards that will teach me how to do that! I paired the grey and white with some pastel green cardstock from Bazzill (A Tuesday Morning find) and added a couple of GinaMarieDesigns stitched ovals. The embossed panel was done with a Darice basketweave ef, and the sentiment tags were hand-cut and stamped with SU! Teeny Tiny Wishes. The corner was done with my Quickutz and I added some pale green gemstones there, as well as on the bunny's bow. I added a black gemstone for his eye and some liquid applique for his cute little bunny tail, hitting it with a heat gun after it dried to puff it up. Thanks for stopping by today and I hope your Wednesday is a great one. Here in PA we're bracing for the white stuff again tomorrow and over the weekend. This has been a crazy year weatherwise! Carol
Welcome to another Ink & Share Blog hop, I'm Laura Mackie I'm from Norfolk in the UK, Our theme this month is Easter / Spring.. It doesn't feel much like spring here yet, we keep having Snow!!! and theres even snow forecast for next weekend on Easter .. how confusing for the poor Easter bunny!!! talking of easter bunnies, my projects are all about the cute bunny from the We must Celebrate stamp set... I've seen a few people make these kinda peek-a-boo style cards and couldn't resist making my own! isn't he cute! Their all looking pretty cheeky here hiding up! This card isn't just for Easter, to create my card I simply cut holes where I wanted using my circle Framelits, Ive added hand stitching around each circle, and sponged a whisper white layer behind with Soft sky ink and sponge, Each bunny was stamped and coloured with my Smoky Slate Blends and colour lifter, then fussy cut by hand!! Ive also created this cute little Easter Treat box / bag using the Scallop Tag punch, so quick to make and hold lots of little chocolates inside our cellophane treat bags - quick to make and as I've found out quick to destroy and eat! so my 2.5 year old daughter saw and grabbed it (without me seeing) as she spotted the chocolates and yep destroyed it so she could eat ALL the eggs and bunnies inside!!!!! how relieved was I that I had photo'd it before it was attacked!!!!!!! To make the cute little box/bag you need 1 piece of cardstock full a4 sheet x 5cm / score at 11.5cm and 18.5cm, then using the scallop tag punch, punch either end as pic below, stamp all over I used a stamp from the We must Celebrate stamp set. I've used Smoky Slate ink on Smoky Slate Cardstock 1 piece of cardstock measuring 9cm x 15cm score on the 9cm edge at 1cm and 8cm, then turn and score on the 15cm edge at 5cm and 10cm, cut away as below, then stamp all over Adhere together both bases, and voila - its done so easy, I love quick and easy treat gifts! Hello, Crafters. Yesterday afternoon, hubby and I went to the Royal Albert Hall to see Cirque de Soleil present Luzia. This is about the seventh or eighth show we have seen and it is certainly one of the best. The best part was when there was water coming down from the high ceiling like rain. ... I have had a few requests for Easter cards from my ladies, Chris (sis-in-law) had a great design for a card using the Just Believe stamp set , so I adapted it to make this one. I didn't have any Daffodil Delight ribbon to match the flowers, border and butterflies, so I used So Saffron instead - I don't think it looks too noticeable. The border is cut using the Finishing Touches Edgelit dies. The butterflies cut using the Beautiful Wings Embosslits. The sentiment is from a retired Stampin' Up! stamp set. Basic Rhinestones for the butterflies bodies, to add a little bit of bling - and I did add Dazzling Diamonds to the flowers - but you can't see it at all in this photo! Happy Easter!!
I just love this quick and simple (but elegant) Easter card using the Easter Message stamp set and the Kinda Eclectic stamp set from Stampin' Up!. Check out today's post for tips and tricks on making this adorable Easter card.

Happy Easter Card Here is a simple but adorable Easter card using the Bunny Punch! This punch will be available again mid May. While that is too late for Easter, it's a great punch to have for baby cards! I had to use the Fresh Freesia Card Stock as purple is my favorite colour and it's retiring soon!! Directions: Cut a 5 1/2" x 8 1/2" piece of Fresh Freesia Card Stock and score it at 4 1/4" for your card base. Cut a 4" x 5 1/4" piece of Basic White C/S and emboss it using the Painted Posies 3D Embossing Folder. Attach this layer to the card base. Cut a 2" x 5" piece of the Dandy Designs Designer Series Paper. Flag cut one end and attach to the layer using Multi-Purpose Liquid Glue. Die cut a Basic White C/S Circle using the Layering Dies or Stylish Shapes Dies. Attach to the card base using Dimensionals. Punch out a bunny using the same Designer Series Paper as your flagged strip. Attach the bunny to the Basic White C/S circle using Dimensionals. Stamp the floral sprig using Memento Black Ink onto Basic White C/S. Color using Fresh Freesia and Mint Macaron Stampin' Blends. Fussy cut out and attach to the bunny using Dimensionals. Die cut a Basic White C/S tag from the Waves Dies. Stamp a sentiment using Memento Black Ink. Change the sentiment for a baby card, thank you card, birthday card etc! Feed some Fresh Freesia Ribbon through one of the tag holes and tie into a bow. Attach this label to the card front using Dimensionals. Add some Rhinestones to finish off the card. For the inside I simply stamped a bunny using Fresh Freesia Ink. Happy Stamping and Creating! Arlene Live in Canada? Shop with me Here! Thank you for stopping by today! Spring is a season of renewal and new beginnings, and what better way to celebrate than by creating some beautiful Spring-themed cards? With flowers blooming and birds chirping, there is no shortag…
In the middle of a horrendous rain storm I was able to create a springy card today. It rained so hard today it was like lions and wolves coming down instead of cats and dogs. I am warm and dry in our trailer and had a most enjoyable day. DH and I went out for breakfast to Lund to a place called Nancy's Cafe. Oh my, they have the most awesomest (I know not a word but they truly are) sticky buns there. We did not have them for breakfast, but brought some home to eat another time. DH is out on the water today teaching a course and it is the day they do a night run. I bet he is having an adventure out there. Good thing it is a cabin boat and they will be warm and dry. I created a card with the Stampin' Up! set Easter Blossoms available only until April 30th in the Occasions Mini Catalogue (page 17)...... I stamped the branch image in Soft Suede around the left hand side and the top of the card. Then I stamped the little girl image in Bravo Burgundy on Whisper White cardstock and cut her out with nestabilities. I wanted to use my Ovals and Scallop Ovals dies with my Big Shot, but I forgot to bring them with me. Then I sponged on some Pink Pirouette ink around the stamped image. After the ink was good and dry, I attached the oval to a scallop oval also cut out with nesties, then spritzed them with Champagne Mist Shimmer Spritz to add some bling. Here is an upclose picture of the bling ... Ah, love that glimmer. A bow tied in Pretty In Pink satin ribbon is wrapped around the 3 layers. I stamped Happy Easter in Bravo Burgundy ink on the bottom right hand corner. I hope you get a chance to do some stamping today. I feel a day without stamping, is like a day without sunshine, only a LOT better!!! Stamps: Easter Blossom Ink: Bravo Burgundy, Pink Pirouette Markers: Pink Pirouette, Pretty In Pink, Regal Rose Cardstock: Whisper White, Bravo Burgundy, Regal Rose Other: Nestabilities, Pretty In Pink Satin Ribbon, Champagne Mist Shimmer Spritz, dimensionals Happy Stampin' ... ... ... ...

Happy Easter weekend! My mom's birthday was yesterday and she would have been 99 years old, but sadly she passed away last June. Normally our family gathers at my home on Easter Sunday to celebrate her birthday, enjoy a feast and each other's company but this year we were once again in COVID lock down and following the social distancing policies. This was my mom last year on her 98th birthday. Because of COVID we weren't allowed inside her residence and had to sing happy birthday from the other side of the fence. This was the last time she was allowed outside before she passed away in June. On Easter Sunday this year, my oldest brother, my sister, my husband and I visited my parent's grave site to bring some flowers and spend some time together and honour my mom's birthday. My sister planted Snowdrops in the fall and we had a delightful surprise yesterday because they were finally in bloom. I brought some Forsythia that's growing wild behind our place. It was one of my mom's favourite Spring flowers so I know she would have been happy with my little bouquet. Here Are My Easter Cards: Okay, on a lighter note, I made a small selection of cards for friends and family this year using one of my favourite but retired Stampin' Up! Easter stamp sets called Everybunny. There are some stamp sets, that you just can't part with and this is one of them. Pop and Flip cards seem to be all the rage right now, and after watching Dawn Griffith's Youtube video I decided to try out this fancy fold technique for my Easter cards. I knew the Everybunny set was perfect in size for making these cards. Details and Supplies: Stamp Sets: Everybunny (retired), Painted Poppies (retiring soon) Ink: Momento Tuxedo Black, Stampin' Blends - Granny Apple Green, Highland Heather, Balmy Blue, Daffodil Delight, So Saffron, Crumb Cake, Cinnamon Cider, Pirouette Pink (retired), Flirty Flamingo, Card Base: Whisper White card stock - 8 1/2" x 5 1/2" scored at 4 1/4", plus a 3" x 3" scrap for die cut circle. DSP Layer: Retired Gingham Designer Series Paper in Granny Apple Green, Highland Heather, Balmy Blue, Grapefruit Grove and Daffodil Delight - measuring 5 1/4" x 4". Apply glue only around the edges of this layer and adhere to the card base. Dies: Stitched Shapes Circle Dies - two largest dies. Largest to cut circle from card base and DSP and Medium die to cut a circle from Whisper White scrap. Note: While I used circle dies, you aren't limited to this shape. You could use any layering dies such as squares, ovals or even rectangles. Also you could do the same concept on a top fold, side-fold or slim line card base. Mechanism: One 3" x 4" piece of cardstock to match the base colour scored at 1", 2" and 3". One 2 1/4" x 3/4" piece of same card stock scored at 1 1/4". Stitched Shapes Dies #152323 comes with 12 dies with the largest one measuring 3 1/4" x 2 3/8". For this card I used the 2 dies in center bottom row. I lined up the largest circle die in the center of the card and cut through both the card base and the designer series paper at the same time. The large Whisper White circle was used as a base for the bunny image and I set aside the gingham circle for another project. I cut the medium sized circle from the 3" x 3" Whisper White scrap piece and stamped my image in Momento Black ink. I used a Sizzix scalloped circle die to cut a layer from Balmy Blue and adhered the circles together. The adorable little bunnies were so much fun to colour using my Stampin' Blends. The grass below the bunny was the small splotch from Painted Poppies stamp set, stamped in Granny Apple Green ink. For the inside of the cards I stamped the sentiment "Happy Easter everybunny" from the Everybunny stamp set. I also stamped the "egg flower" pot and coloured it to correspond with the colour of the DSP and the bunny image on the pop up. Painted Poppies retiring soon. The splotches and solid stamps in this set are great for creating backgrounds. I have to say I had a lot of fun and simply loved making these cards. The card itself has clean simple lines, and those that received it were delighted with the pop up feature. On the whole, I found the Pop and Flip fancy fold was quick and easy to create. I didn't need a whole lot of supplies or card stock so it's economical for doing a large batch of cards. Another plus is that unless you add rhinestones, ribbon or other accessories to your finished Pop and Flip card, it folds flat and extra postage isn't required. I'm definitely adding the instructions for the Pop and Flip card to my template file. I hope you've enjoyed this selection of Easter cards and the Pop and Flip card details. I loved every single one of these cards. How about you? I'd love to hear your thoughts. HAPPY STAMPING! Welcome to Makeover Monday!! Today's project is a stepped up version of yesterday's Simple Sunday card using the Easter Friends Stamp Set. Just a few details change the look of yesterday's card. The flowers are die cut from the Bouquet of Love Die that are only available while supplies last. The chick was stamped on a piece of Shimmery White, heat embossed in gold, die cut and water colored. Here is a look at them side-by-side. Which one do you prefer? Here are the dimensions: So Saffron, 11 X 4-1/4, score

It's not punch art as usual today but I thought those who haven't made their Easter cards yet you might like this one; especially if you do not own any cross stamps like me. It could be adapted easily for a Communion card also. As you can see it's very simple to make. I used SU's wood sheets to cut a few 1/2" thick strips for the cross, sponged them with Soft Suede ink and adhered them together where they...

I realize it's a bit late for Easter, but think NEXT YEAR! Anyway, I LOVE how it turned out and used it as a demonstration in my March stamp club! The Easter Lilies Bundle is AH-MAZ-ING !! At first I thought the dies just cut out the stamped images from the stamp set. But then I discovered that there are also dies that create a 3D lily and leaves. And wow, is this 3D lily pretty. That's what I want to show you today. Here is the Bundle: Here is the replay of today's Facebook Live that shows exactly how to create the lily: For the sentiment on this card I used a stamp from the Heartfelt Hellos Stamp Set.
