Janice Cormier is a ceramic artist whose practice is informed by a deep connection to the landscape. Her works speaks of time, place, and relationship with the earth. Janice initially studied health and social sciences before developing a strong interest in ceramics. While living in northern California, she honed her skills through self-teaching, mentorships, and workshops with established ceramic artists and sculptors. Originally from the east coast of New Brunswick, Janice currently crafts her sculptural ceramic works from her small urban studio in Montreal.
