We started by forming them on the potter’s wheel. After that, they went through the process of firing, glazing and again firing in the temperature of 2102°F (1150°C). This Unique Framed Ceramic Sculpture is hand sculpted in my Art Studio in Galway. Each component of the Ceramic Sculpture is delicately and slowly crafted by hand. It is hand painted using matte slips, stains and terra sigillata. It is primarily white showing off the body of the clay , with hand painted highlights of rose, turquoise, lavender and orange. It is framed in a 13 inch by 13 inch wooden box frame. With a hanger on the back for easy hanging. I live in Galway on the West Coast of Ireland, and one of my greatest loves is free diving. It is from my time underwater that I was inspired to create this Artwork. It is one of a kind as each piece is handcrafted from my Imagination. With no two pieces alike. Fried egg, handmade, artisan ceramic sculpture. This is a ceramic sculpture of a fried egg, an artisan piece that has been handmade by me, Lizzie Beckerley. It is made of ceramic stoneware and is the size of an actual fried egg. You can see from the last photograph that I carve a little groove into the back of the egg so that it’ll hang on a small screw. The fried egg you see in the photograph has been sold and the one you order will be similar, but not identical as all of my sculptures are individually handmade, so no two are completely identical. Each one is therefore original and unique. This sculpture is the perfect gift for any food lover, especially one like myself, who doesn’t want the extra calories. This is a beautiful women ceramic sculpture made of 2 parts. This item includes both parts. It is a set of two female ceramic figures not attached to each other but makes a whole when put together. I made this sculpture of wonderful brown-gray clay thinking of relationships between woman, friendship, love, mothers and daughters, sisters... I was thinking of how some of these are special to me and are full of meaning to me. I choose to decorate them with houses since these relationships are a home to me and also because I love houses and buildings. They inspire me with their colors and textures... I always try to imagine who lives in them, how these people's lives look like, what are they doing, what do they love... are they happy? lonely?... So I sculpted and curved inch by inch with a lot of love and care. Decorated and painted very carefully with Manganese oxide, many bright colors and some glazes. These figures are decorated with houses and trees all around. They look wonderful and also look interesting from all sides. This is an Israeli art sculpture, one of a kind, handmade.
