Four realistic ceramic coconut bowls by Ed Langbein. Shiny white glaze on the interior mimics the coconut and a matte brown glaze with texture mimics the outer layer. Each vase is wheel thrown individually, decorated and carved. The vase is fired to 1000 degrees once it is dried and white matt glaze is applied to the surface of the vase. They are then fired again to 1250-1280 degrees. Each vase is individually handcrafted so no two are exactly alike.
