FacebookTweetPin4 Happy Friday! I hope you’ve had a great week – I have been uber-busy transforming this naughty knotty pine room into something bright, fresh and inviting. It has been a challenge, because apparently, knotty pine doesn’t go gently into that goodnight. But, I’m beating painting it into submission. I look forward to sharing a tutorial to hopefully ease your pain if this project is on your home improvement list. Let’s look at the progress, shall we? Here it is before I got started. Ah, freshness! Although, I think to really appreciate it, you need to see the room when they were looking at the house. These homeowners really had vision. Another angle – before: Now: I was so excited to take a break from naughty knotty pine to slap a first coat of paint on the door. It’s this lovely, sunny yellow – Hawthorne Yellow, by Benjamin Moore. So, it’s coming together nicely. Now, if only I were a little more graceful with oil-based primer… Can I say again how much I loathe oil-based primer? What have you been up to this week?
