Elen et Raphaël ont pour projet de changer de vie. Avec leurs deux enfants en bas âge, ils décident de quitter Paris pour s'installer dans la région bordelaise. Les jeunes parents y louent un appartement le temps de trouver la future maison familiale. Leurs recherches les conduisent à Talence, commune limitrophe de Bordeaux, où ils ont un coup de coeur pour cette échoppe, son jardinet et sa petite terrasse. Pour adapter la bâtisse à leurs goûts, la rénovation s'annonce légère, l'ensemble est en bon état. Reste à moderniser les usages, rafraîchir la décoration et faire circuler la lumière en intérieur. Elen aime les choses intemporelles, minimalistes, avec un certain raffinement. C'est cette ligne de conduite que vont suivre Camille de Rafélis et Harmonie Moitry, architectes d'intérieur cofondatrices de l'agence Bienvenues, à qui le couple confie son nouveau lieu de vie.
