Meet "FANG", a male King Cheetah cub born at Tama Zoo, Tokyo on January 6th. He is the one of four King Cheetahs born at the zoo in the last 16 months. The zoo is not breeding King Cheetahs the way some zoos deliberately breed White Tigers, but something doesn't seem quite right to me. Perhaps their mothers (who are related) are both carrying the recessive gene. Everyone's lips are sealed! Nikon D4, AF-S 70-200mm f/2.8G ED VRII
The beautiful pictures were taken by British wildlife photographer Anup Shah, in Maasai Mara National Reserve, Kenya
