Are you sitting on a goldmine? The toys you used to play with may be worth something.
Full disclosure, I’m a ‘90s kid, born and bred. It’s utterly ridiculous how much I miss watching Sunday morning cartoons while eating a huge bowl of cereal and playing with my beloved toys.

Does anyone know what the hell was the point of Bumble Ball?
There really is nothing like the memories of childhood is there? I think the older we get... the more we tend to turn our childhood memories into magical fairytale like thoughts... I know for myself.. memories of my childhood are just ever so sweet...
I know very few things about you. But I'm pretty sure that at one point or another, you've been involved with most of these toys.

Since I haven't had the luck to be born and to grow up in The United States of America, or any other Western country, but rather an occupation-torn post-Soviet state that has just regained its freedom, I've never actually seen or touched half of the things on this list. And, yet, looking at all these Poo-chi dogs, Polly Pockets, and things like phone charms, I feel a massive wave of 2000s nostalgia!
Here are 19 that will take you back to the good old days.
Whatever happened to Edd the Duck?
Fashion Plates, Spirographs and other toys that nurtured our inner artiste.
Remember these? Last night, my husband and I started talking about the things we did for fun when we were kids growing up in the 1930's and '40's. Our conversation stemmed from a piece of writing a woman in my Memories Writing Group had done. She listed so many forgotten toys and games and I know it triggered memories for many others in the group of seniors. She ended by saying that though she grew up in the depression years and times of great drought here in Kansas, she and her friends were oblivious to all of that. They grew up having fun with what little they had. She learned much later how difficult it had been for her parents and other adults in those years. For those who write memoir or family stories, here's the list Ken and I put together last night. Hopefully, some of what is there will trigger memories and inspire you to write. For the younger readers, it may be of interest to you to see how we entertained ourselves with the simplest things. For all my readers--your family would appreciate your memories of what you did for fun, the games you played, the toys you had as a child. They're sure to be different from what the kids of today have, whether you grew up 7 or 2 decades ago. The List roller skates that clamped onto shoes, skate key to tighten, then wear around your neck on a shoelace jacks marbles jumping rope simple homemade kites, a tail made from Mom's rags spinning tops sledding ice skating (if you were lucky enough to have skates) dodge ball baseball on a school playground or in a park--no special field provided football in the park or someone's back yard outdoor games like Red Rover, Hide and Seek, Tag and Statue croquet ping pong badminton paper dolls coloring books indoor games like Monopoly and Checkers cap guns dress-ups (using Mom's old clothes, hats and shoes) Let us know if you have any others to add.
Check out these unreal 80s toys. Everyone who grew up or lived through the 1980s will be able to remember most of these awesome toys and epic games.

This little house was perfectly designed to capture your imagination. It was a tree that with the push of a button (on the top of the tree) revealed a three-room house, that came complete with an elevator, staircase, swing, and garage.
It would appear that Polly Pocket is basically homeless.
Grandma's house really was the best.

Honestly, Magna Doodle was the iPad of its time.
Bop it! Twist it!! Pull it!!!
What made this so great: Originally introduced in the late 1970s by American Greetings, Strawberry Shortcake was an unstoppable marketing machine. She had every area of merchandise covered: cereal, vitamins, clothes, lunch boxes, and, of course, cartoon series. But most kids will remember her dolls and their main appeal: that each doll smelled like her particular name.
The mems... Cherish them. Especially if you're not British.
