Na, wer von euch hat den schönen Rattan-Schrank aus der diesjährigen Ikea "Stockholm"- Kollektion noch auf seinem Pinterestboard gespeichert? Er war wohl das beliebteste Teil aus der Kollektion und ist daher auch schon seit Monaten vergriffen und auf Ebay Kleinanzeigen sehe ich immer öfter Suchanfragen von willigen Käufern die sogar bereit sind, noch mehr als die eh schon deftigen knapp 350 € für einen dieser Schränke auszugeben! Auch ich bin ganz verliebt in das simple & natürliche Design und wollte daher mal ausprobieren ob ich mir einen ähnlich schönen Schrank nachbauen kann. Ich finde, das Ergebnis kann sich durchaus sehen lassen und wenn man dann noch bedenkt, dass mich mein Modell keine 40 € gekostet hat ist das wohl ein guter Grund meine Anleitung mit euch zu teilen. MATERIAL Für mein Grundgerüst habe ich einen alten Ikea Vestby Schrank verwendet. Diesen findet man sehr häufig umsonst oder für 5 -10 € auf Ebay Kleinanzeigen. Sucht am besten nach Begriffen wie "Ikea Schrank" oder "Schrank mit Vorhang". Die Form der beiden ist sich sehr ähnlich und sogar die Schrankfüße gleichen dem Original. Wer die Originalhöhe des Schrankes haben möchte kann hier einfach die Leisten von oben in Höhe des ersten Querbalkens kürzen. Ich allerdings benötige vollen Stauraum und behalte daher die Größe bei. Fortgeschrittene Hobbyhandwerker können sich das Gestell sicher auch selbst bauen aber die Kosten für das Holz wären natürlich deutlich höher. Abgesehen davon benötigst du: - etwa 3,5 m Jute (Link) - Holzleisten - Scharniere - Möbelgriffe (Link) - Holzschrauben - Holzleim und an Werkzeug: -einen Tacker plus Tackernadeln - eine Schere und - einen Akku-Schrauber ANLEITUNG Ich habe damit begonnen die beiden sichtbaren Seiten des Schrankes mit der Jute zu bespannen. Die milchigen Plastikwände des "Vestby´s" habe ich behalten um den Schrank etwas blickdichter zu belassen. Ich habe oben begonnen den Stoff festzutackern und bin dann mit den Seiten fortgefahren. Zu beachten ist hierbei nur, dass ihr den Stoff schön straff zieht und den Rand nach innen umschlagt damit die Ränder nicht ausfransen. Danach ging es ans Bauen der Türrahmen. Klingt tricky, ist es aber wirklich nicht! Dafür habe ich Holzleisten mit einer Breite von 4 cm und einer Stärke von 5 mm verwendet. Gemessen für die Maße meines Schrankes brauchte ich 4 Leisten mit einer Länge von 170 cm und acht Leisten mit 36,8 cm. Diese habe ich mir direkt im Baumarkt zusägen lassen. Die Leisten habe ich mit einem Express-Holzleim verklebt und nach dem Trocknen auch noch beidseitig mit dem Tacker verstärkt. Beim Bespannen der Türen bin ich genauso wie im ersten Schritt vorgegangen. Also Stoff schön stramm ziehen, nach innen umschlagen und tackern. Die Schranktüren habe ich dann mit je zwei Scharnieren in den Schrank verschraubt. (Im Nachhinein würde ich bei der Länge der Türen doch zu je drei Scharnieren pro Seite raten, denn meine biegen sich in der Mitte leicht durch. Das wird nach dem nächsten Baumarktbesuch aber einfach nachgeholt!) Danach fehlten dann nur noch die Griffe, die auch fix angebracht waren. Optional könnt ihr die Türen noch von innen mit naturfarbener Baumwolle verblenden um sie blickdicht zu machen. Der "Stockholm" - Schrank ist recht lichtdurchlässig aber das empfand ich persönlich doch als sehr unpraktisch. Der Schrank verbirgt nun gekonnt meine Sammelleidenschaft für Jacken und Mäntel und bietet zusätzlich noch Platz für Mützen und Schals! Was meint ihr: Kann der Schrank dem Original Konkurrenz machen oder eher nicht? Ich bin jedenfalls sehr zufrieden und froh, dass die Krallen meiner Katzen bisher noch keinen großen Gefallen an der Jute gefunden haben :-)
