Medium Red Clover produces adorable 3 leaf clover shaped leaves with a hot pink globe shaped flower. Although referred to as “medium red,” it has more pink tones. See my other listing for Crimson Clover for a red clover. Medium red clover is very attractive to honey bees. If you are looking to attract bees to your garden to increase flower and fruit/vegetable production, this is a great flower to plant. Additionally, medium red clover is “nitrogen fixing,” which allows the plants to acquire nitrogen from the air and provide, rather then deplete nutrients from the soil. Planting other plants in the area where they were previously planted provides a nice rich soil for other plants. Farmers plant these after a crop is finished and before planting a new one so that the soil that has been depleted from the previous crop is re-enriched for the new one. Clover is also used medicinally to balance estrogen particularly after menopause. Mix organic compost in with the soil to provide beneficial bacteria needed for clover so it is able to extract nitrogen from the air. It is actually recommended to plant these in fall or spring for warmer regions and spring for cooler regions. These have the capability of providing a gorgeous field of flowers like a natural wildflower landscape. Beat on low just until combined. Heat milk and butter in a small saucepan until butter melts. Do not boil. Add to batter; beat thoroughly (the batter will be thin). Taste of Home Or I had never thought of this before but it sounds delish.... "This is great! fluffy, sweet, delicious! I've made it dairy free also, by substituting coconut milk for the moo, and oil for the butter. I also like a creamy coconut custard for the topping, use the rest of the can of coconut milk and heat it with sugar and a tbsp of cornstarch! sivv it if its a bit lumpy, but its PERFECT! I can't believe its so EASY!" by jovialj I hope to see you at the following blogs: ~Tabletop Tuesday @ astrollthrulife.blogspot.com And also for, Tuesday And Wednesday Teatime In Blogland: ~ Tuesday Tea For Two @ http://theplumedpen.blogspot.com/ ~ Teapot And Tea Things Tuesday @ http://silkenpurse.blogspot.com/ and http://breathoffreshair-paperbutterfly.blogspot.com/ ~Teatime Tuesday @ http://ladykatherineteaparlor.blogspot.com/ ~Tuesday Teatime @ http://sandimyyellowdoor.blogspot.com/ ~Teacup Tuesday @ http://www.marthasfavorites.com/ ~Teacup Tuesday @ http://artfulaffirmations.blogspot.com ~Wednesday Tea For Me And Thee@ http://theplumedpen.blogspot.com/ ~Tablescape Thursday @ http://betweennapsontheporch.blogspot.com/ Cheers and hugs from Pam, @ Breath Of Fresh Air Paper Butterfly; (and also from Wanda Lee for our shared, Teapot And Tea Things Tuesday, weekly memes @ http://silkenpurse.blogspot.com/ )
A yard can be a buffet for rabbits. During the warm months where grass, flowers and vegetables grow, rabbits will come around and help themselves.
