DIY kit with pre cut cardboard to make your own box for your quilt spools, sewing necessaries or other hobby materials. The finished box will be 12.5" x 9" x 2.4" (32 x 23 x 6 cm). The kit comes with six dividers that you can place to suit your own quilt spools or other items you'd like to store in it. The DIY kit exists of ready cut cardboard and a manual in English, French, German and Dutch. In addition to the kit you'll need bookbinding glue, fabric, sharp scissors, a small paint roller with tray, brush and painters tape. You'll need 14" (40 cm) full width fabric for the outside of the box and 14" (35 cm) for the inside. For a nice finish you can add four metal corners (size maxi). This Rinske Stevens kit was used for one of the models in the book Cartonnage Brodé of Rinske Stevens and Marie Suarez. In pictures 4 and 5 you see the box with embroidery work from this book.

This adorable round XL box - pattern: "Townhouses in Alsace"(c) was inspired by cultural and historical region in eastern France, located on the west bank of the upper Rhine, adjacent to Germany and Switzerland. All traditional houses with walls in timber framing and roofing in flat tiles - just stolen my heart! I decided to make a big round, zipper-closed box with Alsatian Townhouses appliquéd motifs.. Even the flap of this box is decorated with Alsatian floral motifs, came from historical - clothes ornaments :) This pattern contains full-size templates, English description step-by-step, with many diagrams to help You make this project as easy as it possible!
