In den letzten Tagen habe ich unsere Terrasse ein wenig umgestaltet. Das alte Buffet von meiner Grosstante bekam einen weissen Anstrich und mit ein paar maritimen Dekorationen erhielt die Terrasse nochmals ein bisschen sommerliches Flair (wobei in meinem Kopf bereits Ideen für herbstliche Dekorationen herumschwirren...). Das Gartenbett stellten wir über die Ferien auf die Terrasse - ich habe es gleich dort stehen lassen, neu bezogen und nun können wir es uns draussen bei jedem Wetter und beinahe zu jeder Jahreszeit gemütlich machen. Hier ein paar Details, wie wir die einzelnen Dekorationen (alles aus bereits vorhandenem Material) hergestellt haben: Boote: Aus Schwemmholz, Stoffresten, Schnur und Pflanzenstäben haben wir Boote gebastelt. Eine (schwedische) Anleitung findet ihr HIER. Vasen: Für die Vasen haben wir Altglasflaschen mit Leim bestrichen und dann mit Schnur und Wolle umwickelt. Als Verzierung haben wir Sterne aus Stoff und je einen Perlmuttknopf aufgeklebt. Kissen: Aus blauen und weissen Stoffen habe ich einfache Sternkissen genäht. Teppich: Den Teppich habe ich aus einem alten, kaputten Rollo gebastelt. Zuerst habe ich den kaputten Teil des Rollos weggeschnitten, danach die schmalen Kanten mit einem Baumwollstreifen eingefasst und dann mit Hilfe einer Schablone Sterne aufgedruckt. Muschelbilder: Die Muschelbilder habe ich bei The Graphics Fairy entdeckt, in der passenden Grösse ausgedruckt und in einen Drahtrahmen gesetzt. Wimpelkette: Die Wimpelkette habe ich diesmal ganz einfach gemacht: Die Stoffdreiecke ausgeschnitten, oben einen einfachen Saum genäht und dann alle Wimpel auf eine Schnur aufgezogen.
