The paper I use is typically 120gsm ,I only use the best quality materials. This art piece was made with 10mm/ 0.4 inches paper strips. This width makes the image stand out beautifully. The base is 300gsm sturdy cardstock. The frame is a good quality box frame with a glass face. Frame size 10x10 inches / 25.5x25.5cm Picture mount 8x8 inches /20.3x20.3cm White frame. Quilled Heart Quilled wall art with a twist of watercolor. Who doesn't like color and some fun in their lives? I have been blessed for many years to provide quilled works of art for people that have challenged me by their wild imaginations. Now, that I have more time, I have decided to take my works public. The pieces in my shop are either 12 x 12's or 8 x 8's that are framed in white shadowboxes. I use thick cotton watercolor paper as my base, with 3,5, or 10mm quilling strips. My quilling is the most prominent feature, but I have found that using mixed mediums such as watercolor just adds to the beauty that is quilling.
