Either side of the main perfume bottle there is a lipstick case and a similar sized case with a small bottle of perfume, that has been used. Each piece has been embellished with faux pearls and sparkling rhinestone diamantes. The attached powder compact is repousse embossed with a crown. This set has been well preserved in its original silk lined box with three internal mirrors, the mirrors either side show a little loss to the silvering, but overall in very good vintage condition. Please look at my photos as they form part of the description. The Carrasco family started to produce perfumed waters and essences at the end of the 19th century in Granada, Spain. In 1912 they moved to Nou de la Rambla, Barcelona and opened a perfume store. As a point of interest, this street had been host to many artist residents including Pablo Picasso. In those days the saleswoman would apply to the perfume to the customer from a large dispenser. . At the end of WW1, Ramon Pons joined the business, which significantly changed its fortune. Ramon Pons was an innovative perfumier and marketeer. He introduced the brand "Myrna Pons" and found a new way of presenting the perfumes. He designed elegant bottles which were embellished with jewels and gold, with eye-catching bottle tops, in luxurious cases with mirrors and satin lining. Its success was resounding as what had been a simple perfume produced in bulk and sold for by the spray became an elegant and distinguished gift, highly appreciated by local clienelle visitors who visited the city alike. The star perfume was No. 1, known for its crown cap. They offered more than forty different fragrances, always presented in the most original ways and which were subsequently imitated by other major brands of perfumery. This comes from a smoke free, pet free home. If you have any questions I am here to help and I am happy to discount for combine purchases. I post first class signed for in the UK. Vintage Djer Kiss Sachet Ribbed Glass Perfume Bottle Mostly Full of Sachet, Original Label, Kerkoff Distributors, New York, Net Wt. 9/16 oz This is a quaint and darling glass vanity collectible of unused Djer Kiss sachet. The sachet will certainly add Interest to a dresser and perfume vanity collection! A nice companion to a Djer Kiss compact too! Djer means Dear Kiss. This Art Deco style glass perfume bottle has an elongated rectangular shape with great ribbed glass. It has the original Sachet Djer Kiss (Dear Kiss) label with green and gold design. The bottle has part of the original neck label marked sachet with flowers on the sides. The glass sachet is full of powder and perhaps only slightly used. The pretty corked lid has a great design which resembles petals of a flower. A vintage ad I found calls the fragrance "exquisitely feminine". The bottom of the jar is embossed Kerkoff. Will make a wonderful keepsake collectible gift for the lover of Djer or lover of vintage sachets. History: Kerkoff, a French perfumer, is known for the fragrance "Djer-Kiss", from the early part of the 20th century. Images of fairies were widely used in ads and most famously on the fairy compact. The company knew success was in the American market and used an American company to manage distribution. The New York company of Alfred H Smith was appointed as Kerkoff’s importer. Condition: Good to very good with light wear to label. Sold AS IS, cannot guarantee that the sachet smells as it should... it does smell very pretty and still with a strong scent. Measurements: 3-1/4" in height by 1-3/8" width and depth

I love this image of a glamour girl checking her perfectly applied make up in this fun compact! I've never been one to do the make up check in public, but might not be able to resist in showing off any one of the lovely pieces I've shown below! (Photo via My Vintage Vogue) This stunning piece would be a wonderful addition to a collection! The center powder and mirror compartment features a dramatic rhinestone medallion on the front, surrounded by a lipstick holder on one side and a perfume bottle on the other! Wow! Dolphin Lady I love the tassel made of sparkling crystal on this piece from 1929. The ribbed gold tone compact features a lovely beveled mirror on the inside. From Power Of One Designs Estee Lauder has had some beautiful collections over the years and this one is certainly just that! It's appropriately called "Butterfly" and has gorgeous colors in the enameling and is embellished with amethyst, topaz and clear crystals! What a stocking stuffer idea! From Volaurie. A classic Fragonard image of lovers is depicted on the top of this wonderful compact from Paris and is stamped "Limoges"...so feminine! Annies Oddities I've always found ostrich to be such an interesting material and this cool compact would be so great, especially this season with textured leathers and fur so popular. This would be super for an edgier fashionista that isn't quite as girly-girl. Baby Fiducia Put Your Best Face Forward Today! --Lee Ann

Exceptional Art Deco Karl Palda Bohemia crystal vanity set with powder box, perfume bottle and eau de tollette spray stunning Art Deco details like the streamlined shape of the containers, with revolving staircase shoulders, engraved and enameled pattern combining geometrical elements with flowers and butterflies. The Art Deco style name was derived from the Exposition Internationale des Arts Décoratifs et Industriels Modernes, held in Paris in 1925, where the style was first exhibited. Art Deco design represented modernism turned into fashion. Its products included both individually crafted luxury items and mass-produced wares, but, in either case, the intention was to create a sleek and antitraditional elegance that symbolized wealth and sophistication. The distinguishing features of the style are shapes that ares geometric or stylized from representational forms and crafted out of often expensive materials, which frequently include man-made substances in addition to natural ones (jade, silver, obsidian, chrome, and rock crystal). Though Art Deco objects were rarely mass-produced, the characteristic features of the style reflected admiration for the modernity of the machine and for the inherent design qualities of machine-made objects Decorative ideas came from American Indian, Egyptian, and early classical sources as well as from nature. Characteristic motifs included nude female figures, animals, foliage, and sunrays, all in conventionalized forms. Most of the outstanding Art Deco creators designed individually crafted or limited-edition items. They included the furniture designers Jacques Ruhlmann the architect Eliel Saarinen; metalsmith Jean Puiforcat; glass and jewelry designer René Lalique; fashion designer Erté; and the figural sculptor Chiparus. Modernism, particularly the austere form we now associate with the Bauhaus, was developing among the avant garde designers as an intellectual expression of the age of the machine and technology. The pioneers of modernism had rejected market-led consumerism, instead aiming for mass-produced goods that concentrated on social utility and usefulness.
